It is finally real. After all the recent leaks, Bethesda has officially revealed The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered during today’s livestream – complete with a launch trailer and insanely good looking gameplay footage.
The remaster is being handled by Virtuos and runs on Unreal Engine 5, bringing big visual upgrades to environments, lighting, and character models. Combat has also been modernized, including improved animations, better controls in third-person, and a more responsive block system.

What You Get
This is not just a graphical upgrade. The remaster includes:
- All original DLCs, including Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine
- Visual enhancements using Unreal Engine 5
- Reworked melee and ranged combat
- Modernized UI and movement
- A Deluxe Edition with bonus armor sets and cosmetics
