Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Switch 2
Final Fantasy VII Remake will finally launch on a Nintendo console: the upcoming Switch 2. While no exact date has been shared, we can expect the game to be available on the Switch 2 by the end of the year, maybe, or at the latest during 2026.
The version that will be added to the Switch 2 is the Intergrade version! This includes the base game, Final Fantasy VII Remake, as well as the Intermission DLC.
The DLC focuses on Yuffie Kisaragi, a Shinobi with a materia addiction, during her infiltration mission in Midgar. Without spoiling anything for those who have not played the game, the Intermission quest starts at Chapter 7/8 of the main game, which is around halfway through. We do recommend you play the main game first before doing the DLC, if you plan on getting it for Switch 2.
What Other Games From Square Enix Can You Expect on Switch 2?
Final Fantasy VII is not the only game from Square Enix that will see its debut on Switch 2! Additionally, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster will also be added to the new Nintendo console. This one will directly launch with the release of the console. Bravely Default fans will be able to enjoy it right away!
