It is official: Star Wars: Hunters is shutting down later this year. In a new announcement, the developers confirmed that the final content update will go live on April 15, followed by a full server shutdown on October 1, 2025. After that, the game will no longer be playable on any platform.
Even though the news is disappointing for many fans, the team has outlined a clear transition plan, and there is still time to jump back in and enjoy the final chapter (if you want to).
Important Dates You Should Know About
- March 25, 2025
Season 5 will be extended by three weeks. Events and shop bundles will return, and the Ranked Season will also be extended to give players more time to reach Kyber 1. - April 15, 2025
Final content update goes live. All in-game purchases will be disabled, but the update will include a new Support Hunter, Tuya, who will be available for free to all players. Ranked mode leaderboards will continue running, and all maps and modes will remain in rotation. - October 1, 2025

What Happens Next?
If you are currently playing or considering jumping in before the end, here are a few important notes:
- Yes, you can keep playing until October 1.
The servers will remain live until then, and all core features will stay active. - There will be no refunds for unused Crystals or Arena Passes.
The devs clarified that the 30-day notice before April 15 is meant to give everyone time to use their in-game currency and finish their passes. - The game will stay downloadable until shutdown.
Even if you uninstalled it recently, you will still be able to re-download and play it until the servers go dark.

It is indeed quite sad to see Star Wars: Hunters come to an end, but at least the developers are giving the game a proper send-off with one last content update and extended support until October. So, if you have been waiting to try it, or just want to enjoy one final Ranked grind, now is the time to jump in.
