Consumables for Survival Hunter in Midnight

4.1.

Flasks

For Survival Hunter, the best flask is generally going to be Flask of the Magisters Icon Flask of the Magisters. That said, it is best to think of Flasks as just another piece of gear that is easily swappable, and depending on your exact gear situation, any of the 4 secondary stat flasks can be optimal. To really minmax on this point, you would need to simulate it.

4.2.

Combat Potions

For Survival Hunter, there are two Potions you need to consider.

  • Light's Potential Icon Light's Potential is a safe option, offering a lot of Primary Stat for 30 sec, to be synced with your cooldowns.
  • Draught of Rampant Abandon Icon Draught of Rampant Abandon is a high-risk, high-reward option. It offers ~12% more stats than an ordinary Potion, but it will force you to move as it constantly spawns void zones beneath your feet. Standing in these will silence you, easily eliminating the DPS gain from the extra Agility, but if this is managed properly and doing so is not going to cause you to mess up your rotation due to focusing on your feet, it is technically the better Potion. This Potion is a 0.5% - 1% DPS increase when utilized perfectly.

Choose wisely, and be honest with yourself!

4.3.

Healing Potions

For Survival Hunter, the best potion is Silvermoon Health Potion Icon Silvermoon Health Potion. It has a 5-minute cooldown and heals most of your health, use it as a last resort, preferring your personal defensives wherever possible.

4.4.

Foods

For Survival Hunter, the best Food you can eat is from a Harandar Celebration Icon Harandar Celebration or Silvermoon Parade Icon Silvermoon Parade Feast. The best non-Feast food is Hearty Royal Roast Icon Hearty Royal Roast. The "Hearty" part is important, as this food persists through death, and I highly recommend grabbing Cooking to easily make your own Hearty Food, as it cannot be straightforwardly purchased on the Auction House.

In addition to Foods, it is currently possible to drink Teas like Sanguithorn Tea Icon Sanguithorn Tea for a modest movement speed increase. These can be consumed and benefitted from alongside food. I think this is unintended, so this may well be fixed in the future.

4.5.

Augment Runes

For Survival Hunter, the best Augment Rune in Midnight is Void-Touched Augment Rune Icon Void-Touched Augment Rune.
