TBC Classic Holy Priest Phase 5 / Tier 6 Gear and Best in Slot

In this guide we will go over the different gear available for Holy Priests in Phase Five raids. We will offer multiple different pieces as some can be rather expensive or very rare to find.

If you are starting out as a freshly-leveled Holy Priest, our pre-raid best in slot list is meant to give you an idea of non-raid items you can chase as a solo / pug player in preparation for raids. If your character is still progressing through the content of older tiers, then you may wish to consult their best in slot lists instead.

Cowl of Light's Purity is an extremely powerful helm option we gain in P5, easily being our best in slot option. Cowl of Absolution remains a solid option until we can get our best in slot, helping us maintain our 4-set bonus as well. Powerheal 9000 Lens is a viable alternative if you have the Engineering profession.

Brooch of Nature's Mercy remains our best in slot neck option. Amulet of Flowing Life is a good Stamina option if you have the Jewelcrafting profession. Brooch of the Highborne is your Stamina option if you do not have Jewelcrafting. Guardian's Pendant of Reprieve is a good option you can obtain easily.

Mantle of Absolution remain our best in slot option whenever we want our 4-set bonus. If your 4-set bonus is not needed, Shawl of Wonderment are your best in slot option, having much higher healing stats.

Handguards of the Dawn are our new best gloves, having a very high amount of desirable stats. Hands of Eternal Light are an easily obtainable option that can be crafted.

Pantaloons of Growing Strife are our best in slot pants option, despite them being the "DPS" version of the legs. The Haste more than make up for the loss of bonus healing.

Boots of Absolution are our new tier boost available in Phase 5, easily being our best in slot option. Slippers of Dutiful Mending are a decent option available from the Phase 5 badge vendor until you can get your tier boots.

Ring of Flowing Life is a new crafted ring available in Phase 5, being one of our two best in slot options. Blessed Band of Karabor remains our other best in slot ring. Band of Lucent Beams is a decent alternative if you are missing the Black Temple trash ring. Finally, Ring of Harmonic Beauty is the new trash ring drop in Sunwell Plateau. Use these for spirit options if you need additional regeneration.

Priests have a large selection of trinkets available to them and they should be using most of the mentioned trinkets, swapping them in and out as needed. Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon remains as your best in slot Mana regeneration trinket as Circle of Healing makes it much easier to proc.

Phase 5 offers an upgraded version of the Alchemy-specific trinket, Redeemer's Alchemist Stone. This trinket is amazing for the additional Mana from Super Mana Potions. Grab this trinket if you are an Alchemist. Memento of Tyrande remains a very solid option if you are not.

The new trinket from Sunwell, Glimmering Naaru Sliver is nice, but the on-use requires a long channel to gain the Mana, making you unable to heal during the cast. Most fights in the raid do not have down time where you can use this trinket, making it a worse option over Memento of Tyrande most of the time.

Finally, Shifting Naaru Sliver is the other new trinket available in Phase 5. While this is a caster trinket, the stats are desirable by most healers as well, making this your actual best in slot trinket. But seeing as this will be wanted by all caster DPS, you will have a hard time obtaining it.
