How to Obtain the Tabard of the Protector
During the Burning Crusade pre-patch, players are able to obtain a unique tabard, the Tabard of the Protector. This guide will explain in detail how to get this beautiful tabard with its unique on-use effect, from what is a very limited event.
Requirements
In order to obtain this unique tabard, you need to be at at least level 55 and be able to fight 6 non-Elite level 60 Felguards. You can do this quest in a party, but not in a raid, and if you are not level 60, it is recommended to bring friends. At level 60, any class can do this quest in any spec.
Where to Find This Quest
The quest you are looking for is Into the Breach, which you can pick up from Agent Proudwell, who is located outside the Dark Portal, in the southern area of The Blasted Lands.
Completing the Quest
Agent Proudwell asks you to slay 6 Invading Felguards, which spawn continuously right next to him by the Dark Portal. Once you have engaged a Felguard, pull it back, so the other spawning mobs do not get into combat with you and overwhelm you. The mobs die very easily and your task will soon be completed.
After killing the required Invading Felguards, go back to Agent Proudwell and turn the quest in.
Rewards
Upon completion, this quest gives you 6 gold, 63 silver, and the unique Tabard of the Protector. After equipping it, you can use it every 5 minutes to show everyone how heroic you are with a beautiful animation.
