Sha'tari Skyguard Reputation and Rewards Guide

The Sha'tari Skyguard are a neutral faction based largely in Blade's Edge Mountains and Terokkar Forest. The Skyguard offers many unique rewards, but the most highly sought-after are the Nether Ray mounts. Having a flying mount is required to do the initial quests with Sha'tari Skyguard (as well as for several later quests and dailies). It is possible to get around this requirement by being summoned and through other complicated means, but this is not worth and for all intents and purposes a flying mount is required.

You can begin your grind with the Skyguard by accepting the Threat from Above quest from Yuula, located in Shattrath City near the flight master. The Skyguard reputation grind will also include some quests with the Ogri'la faction in Blade's Edge Mountains, so you will be able to gain some standing with both while you progress your Skyguard rep.

One of the easiest ways to gain reputation with the Skyguard is by completing daily quests; these are unlocked by progressing further in the chain started by Yuula. At the same time, and the quest chain for Ogri'la that Grok starts in the Lower City in Shattrath City will also yield some Sha'tari Skyguard reputation.

The quests from Yuula will send you to Blackwind Landing in Terokkar Forest and following the chain will eventually unlock the Fires Over Skettis and Escape from Skettis daily quests, as well as the More Shadow Dust quest which is repeatable until Exalted; farming Shadow Dust will also give you a chance to loot Time-Lost Scrolls, which allow you to summon the bosses for Adversarial Blood. Killing each of these named NPCs grants 100 reputation per kill and a one-time turn in of each respective NPC's Claw or Beak, depending on the NPC, for 350 Skyguard reputation.

Grok will send you on the Speak with the Ogre quest, requiring you to meet with Mog'dorg the Wizened in Blade's Edge Mountains. This will begin a chain to unlock the Ogri'la faction we had mentioned earlier. This quest chain is short but requires 5 people.

Once you have unlocked the Ogri'la quest hub, you will be able to pick up the The Crystals quest from Chu'a'lor and the Our Boy Wants To Be A Skyguard Ranger quest. Completing both of these quests will unlock the The Skyguard Outpost and access to another short chain of quests that grants Skyguard reputation, as well as two more daily quests in Bomb Them Again! and Wrangle More Aether Rays!.

When you become Honored with Ogri'la two additional quests, Guardian of the Monument and Banish the Demons will unlock, which will grant both Ogri'la and Skyguard reputation.

All Skettis mobs you kill will grant you reputation with the Skyguard all the way until Exalted, so if you are willing to farm there is nothing time-gating you from gaining Exalted.
