Naxxramas Raid Guides for WotLK Classic
Naxxramas is the main Raid instance of Phase 1 in Wrath of the Lich King Classic, and is also where you will earn the bulk of your unique "Tier 7" armor set. Here, you can find information about how to reach the raid, guides for each of its encounters, and most importantly, the loot you can acquire!
Naxxramas is a Scourge Necropolis championed by Kel'Thuzad. True to his nature as a lich, death could not stop his ambitions in the original instance of this Raid back in the original WoW Classic (Naxxramas). Now, with the battle against the Scourge having shifted to Northrend with Wrath of the Lich King Classic, so too has Naxxramas been uprooted from its former position above Stratholme in the Eastern Plaguelands to now menacingly loom over Wintergarde Keep in Eastern Dragonblight.
If you would like to know more about the other main Raid instances of Wrath of the Lich King Classic Phase 1, please see our overviews of The Obsidian Sanctum, The Eye of Eternity, and the Vault of Archavon as well.

Getting into Naxxramas
Naxxramas can be found hovering above Wintergarde Keep in the Dragonblight zone. In order to reach its entrance, you must have acquired Cold Weather Flying or must otherwise be summoned. The nearest flight points for Alliance and Horde players are Wintergarde Keep and Venomspite, respectively.
Naxxramas Layout and Boss Order
The Wrath of the Lich King version of Naxxramas operates identically to its former variant from WoW Classic, featuring four side wings of bosses to be defeated before entering a fifth wing from the main lobby to face the final two encounters. These wings are The Arachnid Quarter, The Plague Quarter, The Military Quarter, The Construct Quarter, and the Upper Necropolis. You may choose to tackle the four quarters in any order, though the order presented here is likely to be the easiest to manage as a raid group.

Naxxramas Loot
With 15 encounters inside Naxxramas, along with separate loot for both 10- and 25-player modes in addition to pieces of the coveted Tier 7 class sets, its loot table is rather massive. As such, we have compiled every drop from both versions of every encounter in a separate guide below.
In addition to items dropped by the bosses, Naxxramas also features a number of items rarely dropped by the regular enemies within its walls. These items are the following:
10-Player Naxxramas Trash Drops

---|---|
Omen of Ruin | One-Hand Dagger |
The Stray | Off Hand Fist Weapon |
Contortion | Wand |
Medallion of the Disgraced | Neck |

Naxxramas Quests
The Wrath of the Lich King Classic version of Naxxramas has two one-time, but very important quests to complete:
Completion of these quests is required to access the final raid of Phase 1: The Eye of Eternity. Fortunately, the Key to the Focusing Iris/ Heroic Key to the Focusing Iris are guaranteed drops upon successfully completing the encounter against Sapphiron in 10-player or 25-player, respectively. In addition "heroic" variant of this quest, will give you access to both versions of the Eye of Eternity raid, meaning that you do not have to (nearly) fully complete Naxxramas on both modes if you have already done so on at least 25-player.
In addition to the one-time quests above, there are also four possible quests that can come up as a weekly objective from Archmage Lan'dalock near The Violet Hold dungeon in Dalaran. When this is the case, you will be offered one of the following quests for additional reputation with the Kirin Tor Reputation:
- Anub'Rekhan Must Die!
- Noth the Plaguebringer Must Die!
- Instructor Razuvious Must Die!
- Patchwerk Must Die!
Note that each of these possible bosses are the first encounters of their respective wing within the raid, making them fairly easy to complete!
