WotLK Classic Restoration Druid Gear and Best in Slot

While most upgrades from The Ruby Sanctum are straightforward healing increases, having Bracers of Fiery Night combined with the rest of the gear will put you well above the Haste cap, allowing for the low-contest Boots of Unnatural Growth to become best in slot ahead of the highly contested Plague Scientist's Boots.

Restoration Druid Tier 10, Lasherweave Garb, can only be obtained through Emblem of Frost and starts at item level 251. Once you have bought a piece, you can upgrade it to 264 with regular Vanquisher's Mark of Sanctification, which drop from Icecrown Citadel 10 man heroic and 25 man normal, and to 277 with heroic marks, which only drop in Icecrown Citadel 25-man heroic.

Its set bonuses are:

• 2 pieces — causes the healing of Wild Growth to reduce 30% less over time. This is a good bonus which increases the healing on one of your main spells;
• 4 pieces — causes your Rejuvenation to have a 2% chance to jump to a new target at full duration on every healing tick. This is an incredibly powerful effect in any fight with Rejuvenation blanketing, where Druids already shine the most!

As Tier 10 can have high item level and also has great standalone stats, you will want to get its bonuses as soon as possible, favoring using your Emblem of Frost on tier pieces until the 4-piece bonus is obtained.

Restoration Druid Tier 9, Runetotem's Garb, is obtained differently than before. Rather than dropping from specific bosses, the 258 item level pieces are all bought with the same Regalia of the Grand Protector, which drops in 25-man Heroic Trial of the Crusader.

You can use 10-man Heroic / 25-man Normal dropped Trophy of the Crusade and Emblem of Triumph to buy 245 item level pieces, and the lowest 232 item level versions can be bought with just Triumph Emblems.

Its set bonuses are:

• 2 pieces — increases the critical strike chance of Nourish by 5%. This is alright in small group content but for the most part is just a minor healing increase;
• 4 pieces — allows for critical strikes from Rejuvenation. This is a strong bonus, especially if your gear has some critical strike on it, but it does not make critical strike a strong stat.

• Chest — Hodir in 25-man Ulduar or Yogg-Saron in 10-man Ulduar;
• Legs — Freya in 25-man Ulduar or Hodir in 10-man Ulduar;
• Shoulders — Yogg-Saron in 25-man Ulduar or Thorim in 10-man Ulduar;
• Gloves — Mimiron in 25-man Ulduar or Freya in 10-man Ulduar.

Its set bonuses are:

• 2 pieces — increases the healing done by your Swiftmend spell by 10%. This is a minor healing increase;
• 4 pieces — causes Rejuvenation to provide an instant heal for your target, which is as big as one tick of the spell. This bonus increases your reactive healing significantly and is a large boost to your best spell.

Overall the 2-piece bonus is forgettable but the 4-piece is strong enough that you will want to obtain it as soon as possible!

Restoration Druid Tier 7, the Dreamwalker Regalia, is obtained from the following bosses:

• Helm — Kel'Thuzad in Naxxramas
• Chest — The Four Horsemen in Naxxramas
• Legs — Thaddius in Naxxramas
• Shoulders — Loatheb in Naxxramas
• Gloves — Sartharion in The Obsidian Sanctum

Its set bonuses are:

• 2 pieces — lowers your Lifebloom cost by 5%. Unfortunately you will almost never use Lifebloom unless it was made free by Omen of Clarity, making this set bonus very weak.
• 4 pieces — increases the healing done by Nourish by 5% for each heal-over-time present on the target. This bonus can be okay for small group content but is very weak on large-scale raiding, as you will rarely be focusing all of your healing into a single target.

Overall the tier 7 bonuses are forgettable and it is generally better to chase the best-budgeted gear for each slot, instead.
