Overview of Thaddius in Wrath of the Lich King Classic's Naxxramas
Thaddius is the fourth and final boss of The Construct Quarter that you will encounter in Naxxramas, and contains an infamous jump in addition to an equally infamous debuff. Make sure you have access to a Slow Fall or Levitate if you are nervous on this encounter.

- Make sure you stand in the spot designated for players with a particular Charge debuff from Polarity Shift.
Thaddius Abilities
- Feugen
- Static Field — Feugen will periodically use this ability, dealing a large amount of Nature damage to all players within 60 yards of him.
- Magnetic Pull — Periodically, Feugen will forcibly drag the tank fighting Stalagg over to himself, while sending his own active tank over to Stalagg.
- Resurrection — if Stalagg is not defeated within 10 seconds of Feugen's death, he will be resurrected.
- Stalagg
- Power Surge — Stalagg will periodically enrage, drastically increasing his attack speed.
- Magnetic Pull — Periodically, Stalagg will forcibly drag the tank fighting Feugen over to himself, while sending his own active tank over to Feugen.
- Resurrection — if Feugen is not defeated within 10 seconds of Stalagg's death, he will be resurrected.
- Thaddius
- Chain Lightning — A basic cast used by Thaddius while he is active, jumping to up to 8 players.
- Polarity Shift — Thaddius's signature mechanic; he will apply either a Positive Charge or Negative Charge to all members of the raid. While debuffed, players standing next to others with the same charge will increase their damage dealt, while players of opposite charge will deal massive damage to eachother. Thaddius will also periodically swap the charge of players at random.
Strategy for Thaddius
Begin this encounter by splitting your raid into two equal groups with an even distribution of tanks, healers, and DPS, as both Feugen and Stalagg need to be defeated within a short time period of each other to prevent their revival. While split, you will be fighting your designated miniboss and watching the health totals of both to make sure you are fighting at the same pace. Upon defeating these two, carefully jump from their platforms onto Thaddius's.
Once Thaddius has become active, he will quickly cast a Polarity Shift. At this time, your raid needs to quickly reach the designated stack points for Negative Charge and Positive Charge (generally labelled as "left" and "right"). If someone with the wrong charge is present...you will know when your raid quickly wipes from the resulting damage taken. Stay calm, and watch out for Thaddius shifting your polarity to the opposite debuff over the course of this part of the encounter.
