Vault of Archavon Raid Guide for WotLK Classic
The Vault of Archavon is considered a side-raid in Wrath of the Lich King despite it dropping multiple best-in-slot gear choices. Consisting of only one boss in phase one, Vault of Archavon, commonly referred to as VoA, is found in the back of Wintergrasp Keep.
The Vault of Archavon is a PvP-based Raid that rewards both PvE and PvP gear. This raid is commonly referred to as VoA. As the difficulty of this raid is extremely easy, it is very common to run this raid with less than the maximum amount of people for a better chance at obtaining loot. It is also common practice to do a "spec run" in the 25-player version of the raid, making sure to not bring multiple classes of the same spec to avoid gear competition.

Getting into The Vault of Archavon
The Vault of Archavon can be found in Wintergrasp at the back of the Wintergrasp Keep. It requires that your faction has the Essence of Wintergrasp buff to enter the raid. Simply head to the back of Wintergrasp Keep and head into the raid instance to access this raid.
The Vault of Archavon Layout and Boss Strategy
The Vault of Archavon is one of the more unique Raid instances of Wrath of the Lich King, as it features a new boss every phase that drops both PvE and PvP gear. This makes these bosses extremely desired as you can very easily obtain multiple best-in-slot PvE and PvP pieces from an easy, short raid.
