Warrior Leveling Guide From 1 to 80 for WotLK Classic

Warriors have three talent trees to choose from, each focusing on using different weapons and tactics in the battlefield. Those talent trees are: Arms, Fury, and Protection.

Arms Warriors focus on inflicting deadly bleeds on their foes, using their wide knowledge of weaponry to counter any and all attacks their enemies throw at them. Arms is a great spec for leveling all characters new and old alike.

Fury Warrior is a fast-paced, powerhouse spec. Fury Warriors wield two powerful weapons, dealing devastating damage with their attacks. Fury is a very gear-dependent spec, not making it the ideal choice for new or under-geared characters.

Protection Warrior focuses on the defensive nature of the class, brandishing a shield and one-handed weapon. This is a great spec to choose if you plan on leveling with others, especially in Dungeons as you will be able to fulfill the tank role if needed.

For Warriors, there are a few quests you need to do to unlock the rest of your spells and abilities. At Level 10 you will want to do a quest to unlock your Defensive Stance and all the associated abilities. At Level 30 you will want to unlock your Berserker Stance through a class quest.

• Orc/Troll/Tauren — Veteran Uzzek
• Undead — Speak with Dillinger

Warriors can pick up this quest from their respective Warrior trainer.

• The Islander

If you want to optimize your leveling speed, it is recommended that you use the Arms Warrior build as it will have the easiest and most effective leveling out of any of the specs.

One popular and efficient leveling strategy is dungeon grinding. Dungeons are much easier than people remember, give higher experience, and with a solid group dungeons can match or even beat the experience-per-hour that questing gives.

If you choose to do this strategy, make sure to plan your spec according to your group's needs. They may need you to tank, or to provide some resource-free cleave damage.

If your goal is to hit Level 80 as fast as possible, it is not recommended to pick up professions while leveling. However, some professions are very useful for either leveling or at Level 80, and can be worth the time investment while leveling.

First Aid is a must-have profession at max level due to the no-Mana-cost healing it provides, and is essentially required for Warrior leveling; learning it early is very useful while leveling. Mining and Engineering is a great combo for any Warrior, giving you the option to make multiple powerful helmets and trinkets while leveling. You will definitely want Engineering at Level 80, so leveling this early is a great idea.
