Elemental Invasions Guide for WoW Classic

Last updated Yesterday at 18:47 by Abide 1 comment

Elemental Invasions are world mini-events that take place in Azshara, Silithus, Un'Goro Crater, and Winterspring, in which elemental mobs will spawn in higher numbers in these zones.

1.

What are Elemental Invasions?

Portals will periodically open in one of the four designated zones (Azshara, Silithus, Un'Goro Crater, and Winterspring), which will summon elemental mobs. Players can kill these mobs until the leader of that specific element appears, at which point the additional spawns will stop, and the leader can be defeated.

The basic mobs can be easily defeated alone (note that they have varying damage patterns and you may have more difficulty with one type than others you have previously defeated, so pull cautiously), but the leaders are elites and will require a proper group setup and plan to defeat.

2.

Types of Elemental Invasion

There are 4 types of invasion, one for each zone, with each having a specific elemental type depending on the zone you are in.

The 4 types and their locations are as follows:

2.1.

Boss Tactics

The bosses themselves are extremely easy from a mechanics point of view, with each having very typical abilities for elemental mobs. The main danger comes from their numerical damage output, elite status, and the group of mobs that they have with them upon engaging.

As long as you take caution when engaging them and ensure that you are well prepared with a group, you will have absolutely no issues whatsoever killing them.

3.

Elemental Invasion Loot

The Invasions provide players with a slightly higher chance of obtaining elemental materials from the elementals, as well as a number of green and blue items that can be very useful.

The basic mobs do not have much notable loot beyond the Essences and the standard potential for world BoEs.

The leaders, on the other hand, can drop some very useful loot, which we have outlined below.
