We have a brand new level 60 Hardcore champion!
Zeroji from OnlyFangs managed to claim the new HC title, as the long-time leader Ahmpy died mid-way through after a very unfortunate disconnect took him down at level 54. Zeroji took the reins after that and dinged 60 in a nice safe environment – donating cloth in Orgrimmar!
He leveled as a Beast Mastery Hunter, finishing the process with some Winterspring and Felwood questing/mob farming having taken 3 days and 22 hours /played to get there. He was actually playing with Ahmpy and a few others earlier in dungeons, but as Mages go off and do their own AoE grind after wards they split up. The rest were going to do Shadowfang Keep 4-man, but then two more of them died! Zeroji ended up the only player to survive out of the 5-man group and claimed the final prize!
And so the Hardcore race to the top really did end up being about survival!
