Season of Discovery Priest: Rune Slots and Rune Locations
On this page, you will find all information about the Priest Runes in WoW Classic - Season of Discovery.
Overview
The single largest new feature of Season of Discovery is the addition of Rune Engravings for your gear. Runes will allow you access to new abilities, the ability to augment your current spells, and in some case unlock entirely new possibilities for your class, such as being able to Tank or Heal when your class previously wasn't able to. At this point in time, Rune Engravings are limited to seven slots, the Chest, Gloves, Helm, Belt, Wrist, Boots, and Pants. Listed below are all of the currently available Rune Engravings for Priest.
Quality of Life Skill Locations
There are various quality of life spell books found throughout Azeroth that have been added in Season of Discovery to improve the experience compared to the original version of vanilla. While these are not considered Runes you will still need to discover them to unlock their abilities.
Priest can currently obtain:
- Scroll of Shadowfiend — dropped from Interrogator Vishas in Scarlet Monastery: Graveyard.
- Scroll of Increased Fortitude — dropped from Interrogator Vishas in Scarlet Monastery: Graveyard.

Unlock Information
This Rune requires the assistance of two other classes in order to unlock. A rogue with the Master of Subtlety Rune learned and a Jani's Charm is required to pick pocket the Bloodscalp Trolls found in the ruins in northwestern Stranglethorn vale for the Mysterious Troll Scroll
After you have acquired the Mysterious Troll Scroll you will need a Mage with a Comprehension Charm to turn the Mysterious Troll Scroll into a Deciphered Troll Scroll which will begin your quest to unlock this Rune.
Directly north of Booty Bay there is a mountain filled with Naga, a bit north of where you will find the Bloodsail Pirates west of Booty Bay (found around 28.9, 62.0) there will be a fountain where you can acquire the Holy Spring Water you will need.
With the Holy Spring Water and two meditation buffs from any source you can head to the fountain that will be found in the same Bloodscalp ruins where we got the Mysterious Troll Scroll from and the fountain behind the Bloodscalp Chieftan Gan'zulah will become interact-able, click on it and you will be able to loot the Rune. (The fountain can be found at roughly 23.6, 8.2)

Unlock Information
In order to unlock the Rune for Pain Suppression you will need to find 4 Echos which can be found across Azeroth. You can collect these in any order but when activating them in the final step they must be used in the correct order. I recommend going after the Graveyard Echo last as you will be heading to Scarlet Monastery to turn these all in. The echoes come from Tombstones so make sure you are looking for an interact-able tombstone when collecting these.
Arathi Echo can be found at Go'shek Farm in Arathi Highlands (roughly 62, 54)
Theramore Echo can be found just outside Theramore at the small graveyard found at 63.5 42.5

Graveyard Echo can be found in Scarlet Monastery: Grave Yard, when in the court yard you will find an interact-able headstone just a bit east of the small mausoleum found on the northern side of the grave yard.
When you have all four Echoes next you will need to head into the Scarlet Monastery Library, proceed to the Gallery of Treasures where you will need to use these items in order, first being the Swamp Echo at the Warrior Statue, second the Arathi Echo at the Mage statue, third Theramore Echo at the Paladin statue and lastly the Graveyard Echo at the Priest statue. Upon completing this in correct order a glowing sphere will appear in the center of the room granting you the Memory of a Leader's Betrayal which will teach you the Rune for Pain Suppression.

Head to Deadwind Pass and speak to the Dalaran Agent that can be found at Ariden's Camp which can be found just north of the turn where you would head east into Swamp of Sorrows (roughly 52, 35).This agent will give you Ariden's Sigil this Sigil has an on use to provoke nearby Dark Riders to reveal themselves. You will know when you are near a Dark Rider as you will gain the buff Dark Presence when near one but otherwise they are just disguised as regular NPCs. Upon killing a Dark Rider you will be rewarded with a Dalaran Relic, we need 7 relics to earn this Rune so we will need to kill 7 different Dark Riders. Below is my recommend order to quickly complete this task. Dark Riders can be difficult to kill but certainly should be able to be soloed, consider partying up with a friend to make this task easier, especially a Mage as we will have to cover a significant amount of distance to complete this task.
Please note that the Dark Riders do have a small patrol area and the coordinates recommend below are a rough approximation, if you walk around the recommend location you should quickly be able to find them.
The closest Dark Rider to your starting point can be found in Deadwind Pass at (43, 29)
The second Dark Rider can be found at (69, 28) in the Swamp of Sorrows.
The third Dark Rider can be found in Duskwood at (22, 51)
The fourth Dark Rider can be found in The Badlands at (58, 54)
the fifth Dark Rider can be found in the Arathi Highlands at (60, 40)
Next we will need to head to Kalimdor, the sixth Dark Rider can be found at (52, 36) in the Barrens.
The 7th and final Dark Rider we need can be found in Desolace at (65, 25).
Return to the Dalaran Agent in Deadwind Pass with the 7 relics you have acquired and turn in their respective quests and the Rune will be your reward!

While the Wild Offering can drop from any of these three dungeons, you do not need to kill three different Delirious Ancients. You can farm all three of the Wild Offerings needed to complete this quest in the same dungeon if you are willing to reset the dungeon and re-clear it.
- Head to Zul'Farrak. After killing completing the Pyramid event, a ghostly spider will spawn in Gahz'rilla's room. While you do not need to kill Gahz'rilla, it makes it easier to find the spider that is patrolling around. Use the Agamaggan's Roar near the ghostly spider and kill the Delirious Ancient that spawns and loot the Wild Offering.
- Head to Maraudon Purple and kill Princess Theradras and use the Agamaggan's Roar near the devilsaur that is patrolling around the area where Princess Theradras was and kill the Delirious Ancient and loot the Wild Offering.
