Mythic+ Dungeon Difficulty Rankings and Tier List for Tyrannical/Raging/Storming Affixes

This week's affixes are Tyrannical, Raging and Storming.

Freehold is going to be the easiest dungeon this week due to several reasons. There are barely any caster mobs here, hence why Raging will not be an issue. There is plenty of space to avoid the Storming since it is an open-layout dungeon, which is another positive feature. The hardest part here will be boss fights on Tyrannical, especially Skycap'n Kragg and Captain Eudora, we strongly recommend you save your major cooldowns so you increase your chance of passing the encounters.

You need to be really careful here with Raging, as there are tons of lethal casts from non-boss-enemies, luckily for you, you can stop most of them with an interrupt, except for Fetid Maggot's Rotten Bile The fact that it is Tyrannical gives you a massive leeway for an error, even if a cast/frontal goes through, it will likely not kill you and give you more reaction time. As always, keep a close eye on boss fights, as they are really the only dangerous encounter here will be Cragmaw the Infested, with its Tantrum.

Neither of the weekly affixes will have any influence on the difficulty of the dungeon. The one thing you should keep in mind is the boss fights; this will be your main obstacle. Each of the bosses will be tough to deal with, despite being Fortified, potentially creating something we call a "soft-enrage" if not killed quickly. An example of this behavior can be identified at the very first boss of this dungeon — The Curator — where you will eventually run out of space due to Power Discharge covering the whole room and the stacks of Overload becoming lethal.

Tazavesh: Streets of Wonder in particular will be quite tough to deal with for several reasons. First, Necrotic will be terrible to deal with here as the mobs have a built-in teleport, so once your tank begins to kite them away to reset Necrotic Wound, the enemies will port onto the tank unless you stun them prior; hence, having good group synergy is important here. Second, Tyrannical will be a serious threat to any group entering this key, as it will create one of the hardest bosses to deal with, meaning that you want to save every cooldown available to pass them and collect as many Bounties from Shrouded as you can on your way there. Do not underestimate this dungeon just because it is straightforward, and it will be quite easy to time!

Iron Docks is one dungeon where good group-synergy will net you the most amount of time using the Iron Stars. There are a lot of non-boss-enemies which will deal unavoidable damage to you, such as Grom'kar Footsoldier's Charging Slash, so you need to be really quick with using your own personal defensive cooldowns. Necrotic will not have much of an impact on your team outside of the few pulls prior to engaging the first boss of the dungeon. After that is mostly smaller pulls combined with Iron Star strategy. Keep your eye out, however, for the final boss fight, as Skulloc is one of the hardest bosses to defeat in the current dungeon pool. Focus and kill Koramar as quickly as you can so you can stop the Rapid Fire coming out from Zoggosh.

Despite the several nerfs to Return to Karazhan - Lower, it still remains one of the hardest dungeons to complete in time. There are several reasons why that is the case, one of them being how hard the boss fights are. The high mob density in this dungeon will make both the Spiteful and Necrotic affixes hell to deal with. In addition, the limited space of this dungeon will impact the most Spiteful Shade spawns, as it will be hard for you to manage to dodge them effectively. Use your utility to prevent yourself from being hit by a Spiteful Shade.

Grimrail Depot is normally one of the easier dungeons. However, with this week's affixes, it will be one of the hardest to complete in time. The lack of space, especially in the train area leading to Nitrogg Thundertower and Skylord Tovra will make dodging Spiteful spawns close to impossible without sacrificing DPS. If that is not enough, wait until you realize you need to also pay attention to Nightmare Clouds and the lethal Carrion Swarm frontal from Nathrezim Infiltrator. Necrotic will also be a major concern because of the lack of space, which will make kiting for resets harder for your tank. Finally, boss fights in this dungeon are known to be one of the hardest available across all dungeons in Shadowlands, so be extra prepared!

Operation: Mechagon - Workshop will be the hardest key this week, not only because it holds one of the hardest bosses in Mythic+ but also because the limited space of the whole dungeon will make dealing with Necrotic and Spiteful really difficult. Pay attention to the narrow corridor leading to K.U.-J.0., as that is where you will find it the toughest dealing with the weekly affixes; even the Toxic Wastelings can be troublesome. Finally, one of the hardest bosses, even on Fortified, across all dungeons — Head Machinist Sparkflux — will be the main concern; do your best to collect as many bounty stacks as possible from Shrouded beforehand to make the fight easier.
