Best MoP Remix Leveling Build for Affliction Warlock
Dungeon / AoE Open-World Build
This build is intended for speed-leveling and sacrifices single-target damage to maximize your ability to make huge pulls and AoE damage. This works very well in dungeons with big pulls, or in outdoor content where you pull large groups of enemies.
Raid / Cleave Build
This build assumes you are spending a lot of time in Raids, or doing Dungeons at a relatively normal pace where bosses take a decent amount of time to kill. For dungeons where you do large trash pack pulls, or pull trash on top of bosses, we suggest going the AoE build instead.

Leveling Rotation for Affliction Warlock
Dungeon / AoE Open-World Build:
- Level 10 — maintain Agony on the target. Prioritise it over Corruption when tagging mobs.
- Level 11 — keep Unstable Affliction rolling on the target. Consider recasting it on dying enemies to gain 1 Shard in the process.
- Level 53 — cast Soul Rot after having all the DoTs applied, in order to have stronger Malefic Raptures. The Drain Life component should be considered as a tool to sustain as the damage is otherwise low.
- Level 29 — Use Vile Taint as often as possible, prioritizing multi-target situations.
- Level 2 — the first DoT becomes available Corruption, which should be used to tag and soften up multiple enemies whenever spamming a few shadowbolts will not kill them quicker.
- Level 35 — Cast Summon Darkglare after having applied as many Damage over Time effect as possible.
- Level 10 — Malefic Rapture is the main Soul Shard spender both in single target and multi-target. To maximize its impact, cast it when you have the highest amount of periodic damage on targets.
- Level 13 — Seed of Corruption is unlocked, and is mostly used to spread Corruption on stacked targets to enable Malefic Rapture burst windows quicker.
