Overview
Anduin engages players while battling his own domination. Anduin's Kingsmourne Hungers separates players from their souls, allowing them to aid Anduin's true self and restore his Willpower.
Throughout the encounter, Anduin temporarily manifests the source of his domination. This manifestation is linked to him by Domination's Grasp.
- Blasphemy is neutralized when coming into contact with the opposite mark.
- Monstorous Souls begin to cast Necrotic Detonation at low health.
- Anduin's Doubt and Anduin's Despair restore Willpower to Anduin when defeated.
- Blasphemy is neutralized when coming into contact with the opposite mark.
- When Anduin's Hope reaches full health, it restores Willpower to Anduin.
- Befouled Barrier absorbs the healing of players standing in the area and erupts at the end of its duration. The intensity of this eruption is based on the remaining absorption amount of the barrier.
- Dark Zeal increases in intensity with every melee attack until Anduin attacks a different target.
- Soul Reaper inflicts substantial Physical and Magical damage.
- Blasphemy is neutralized when coming into contact with the opposite mark.
Stage One: Kingsmourne Hungers
Aiding Anduin restores his Willpower. Anduin consumes his Willpower to empower players with Force of Will before manifesting the source of his domination.
Anduin grants players up to 200% increased damage done and 90% reduced damage taken, based on the amount of Willpower consumed.
Anduin rends the souls of players, inflicting 29,977 Shadow damage to players in front of him and banishing their souls for 35 sec.
In Mythic difficulty, players struck by Kingsmourne Hungers leave behind a Severed Soul.
While players' souls are banished they are able to aid the soul of Anduin.
Defeating Anduin's doubt and restoring his hope grants him willpower.
Players are afflicted with Scarred Soul when this effect is removed.
Immune to the effects of Lost Soul.
Damage taken by Kingsmourne Hungers increased by 5,000%.
When a Severed Soul is defeated, the player that it belongs to is returned to their body.
If a player's Severed Soul persists when Lost Soul expires, they are instantly slain.
The Severed Soul attempts to permanently banish the player it is connected to, instantly slaying them.
Defeating Anduin's Despair grants Anduin 18 willpower.
Darkness rains down around Anduin's Despair, inflicting 29,977 Shadow damage to players in the impact area and reducing damage and healing done by 50% for 6 sec.
Restoring Anduin's Hope grants Anduin 4 willpower.
Anduin's Hope is afflicted with gloom, reducing movement speed by 80% and reducing the effects of healing received by 100%.
Defeating Anduin's Doubt grants Anduin 4 willpower.
When a Severed Soul is defeated, the player that it belongs to is returned to their body.
If a player's Severed Soul persists when Lost Soul expires, they are instantly slain.
The Severed Soul attempts to permanently banish the player it is connected to, instantly slaying them.
Anduin intensifies the light and darkness within several players marking them with Overconfidence or Hopelessness for 12 sec. Coming into contact with the opposing mark neutralizes the effect on both players.
After 12 sec marked players explode, inflicting $?diff15|diff16 [59,954 Twilight damage to all players within 6 yds.][]$?diff14|diff17 [112,414 Twilight damage.][] Coming into contact with the same mark$?diff16 [ or an unmarked player][] also causes this explosion.
In Mythic difficulty, Blasphemy is triggered when a marked player comes into contact with players without Hoplessness or Overconfidence.
Anduin summons a Befouled Barrier that inflicts 37,475 Twilight damage to all players and creates a barrier that persists for 25 sec. 50% of healing received by players within the area is redirected to the barrier. Up to 749,500 healing received reduces the size of the barrier.
Upon expiration, the barrier explodes and inflicts 37,471 Twilight damage, tainting all players. This effect absorbs up to 749 healing received based on the size of the Befouled Barrier.
Anduin sends forth waves of dark energy that travel out and return to their origin. Players hit suffer 18,737 Twilight damage every 1 sec and are unable to attack or cast spells for 4 sec. $?diff15|diff16 [ Anduin's minions hit by a Wicked Star heal 5% of their maximum health every 1 sec and are immune to crowd control and interrupt effects for 10 sec.][]
Anduin plunges Kingsmourne into the ground unleashing a wave of maw energy, inflicting 29,994 Shadow damage to all players and an additional 2,248 Shadow damage every 2 sec until Anduin reaches 100 willpower. This effect stacks.
Anduin afflicts players with a word of darkness that inflicts 14,990 Shadow damage every 2 sec for 12 sec.
With each consecutive melee attack against the same target, Anduin's attack speed increases by 7%. This effect stacks.
Intermission: A Fallen King
The Remnant's domination over Anduin's soul links them, transferring 100% of damage taken to Anduin.
Armies of the Damned march across the arena. Players that come into contact with them are stunned and suffer 224,829 Shadowfrost damage instantly with an additional 112,425 Shadowfrost damage every 1 sec for 3 sec.
The presence of the Fallen King invokes a raging storm that inflicts 18,735 Shadowfrost damage every 1 sec to all players.
This effect stacks, increasing in stack count every 5 sec.
The Fallen King strikes at the target's soul. This grants the Fallen King 100% attack speed for 8 sec and inflicts 1.1 million Physical and 299,773 Shadowfrost damage to the target.
This effect increases the target's Physical damage taken by 150% for 15 sec.
Fiendish souls flood the arena, attacking enemies of the Fallen King.
The soul begins to detonate upon reaching low health, inflicting 374,750 Shadow damage every 1 sec to all players and reducing the effectiveness of healing and absorption effects received by 100% for 10 sec.
The soul's rage causes it to unravel, the soul loses 1% of its maximum health every 1 sec and gains 5% increased Physical damage done.
Leaps towards a target, inflicting 74,943 Physical damage to all players within 8 yards and reducing the effectiveness of healing and absorption effects received by 5%.
Stage Two: Grim Reflections
Aiding Anduin restores his Willpower. Anduin consumes his Willpower to empower players with Force of Will before manifesting the source of his domination.
Anduin grants players up to 200% increased damage done and 90% reduced damage taken, based on the amount of Willpower consumed.
Anduin manifests dark images of himself throughout the arena that cast Psychic Terror.
The reflection lets out a psychic scream, $?diff14|diff15|diff16 [causing all players to flee for 3 sec and][] inflicts 22,485 Shadow damage every 1 sec for 20 sec.
When defeated, Grim Reflections empower all remaining Reflections increasing their Haste by 150%.
Anduin rends the souls of players, inflicting 29,977 Shadow damage to players in front of him and banishing their souls for 35 sec.

Stage Three: A Moment of Clarity
In a moment of clarity, Anduin summons a Beacon of Hope. Players that enter the area have applications of Hopelessness removed, reducing the size of the barrier and applying Purging Light to all players for 3 sec.
In Mythic difficulty, Beacon of Hope has a reduced number of charges, but expels a Fragment of Hope whenever a player enters the area.
The beacon erupts when purging the effects of Hopelessness, inflicting 2,998 Holy damage every 1 sec to all players for 3 sec. This effect stacks.
Fragment of Hope removes an application of Hopelessness from a player standing in the impact area. If no players are standing in the impact area the fragment bursts, inflicting 18,735 Holy damage to all players.
Anduin intensifies the darkness within players afflicting them with Hopelessness.
Afflicted players suffer 1,498 Shadow damage every 1 sec and after 30 sec marked players explode, inflicting $?diff15|diff16 [59,954 Twilight damage to all players within 6 yds.][]$?diff14|diff17 [112,414 Twilight damage.][] Coming into contact with the same mark$?diff16 [ or an unmarked player][] also causes this explosion.
In Mythic difficulty, Hoplessness is triggered when a marked player comes into contact with players without Hoplessness.
Anduin plunges Kingsmourne into the ground unleashing multiple waves of maw energy. Each pulse inflicts 29,994 Shadow damage to all players and applies Hopebreaker inflicting an additional 2,248 Shadow damage every 2 sec. This effect stacks.
Anduin sends forth waves of dark energy that travel out and ricochet off of the edges of the arena. Players hit suffer 24,733 Twilight damage every 1 sec and are unable to attack or cast spells for 6 sec.
Anduin's minions hit by a Wicked Star heal 5% of their maximum health every 1 sec and are immune to crowd control and interrupt effects for 10 sec.
With each consecutive melee attack against the same target, Anduin's attack speed increases by 7%. This effect stacks.
