Arms Warrior DPS Castle Nathria Raid Guide — Dragonflight 10.2.5
On this page, you will find tips, tricks, and strategies tailored to your Arms Warrior for each boss of the following raid: Castle Nathria. All our content is updated for World of Warcraft — Dragonflight 10.2.5.
Introduction
During the Dragonflight Pre-Patch, Castle Nathria, Sanctum of Domination, and Sepulcher of the First Ones will be simultaneously featured as Fated Raids. During this time encounters within each specific raid will include an additional mechanic and items will drop at increased item levels. If you would like to learn more general information about the Fated Raids system as a whole, please see our overview below. Otherwise, continue to use this page for specialization-specific tips.
On this page, you will find Arms Warrior specific information to deal with each boss in the Castle Nathria raid.
This page assumes that you already understand most of the mechanics of each encounter. These can be found on the full raid guide, so what is contained here are details specifically tailored toward Arms Warrior and what you can do to deal with each fight as best as possible.
While the normal single-target talents can be used for most bosses, Fated Power: Chaotic Essence twists this by adding a significant multitarget component which Warriors are well suited to engaging. As affixes are random each week, these guidelines do not consider it, but you should talent into at least Warbreaker and Bladestorm, along with the Signet of Tormented Kings legendary for whichever bosses the affix is active on.
Talent Cheatsheet
You can easily import the talent tree below into the game with the following string:

Shriekwing
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Shriekwing.
- Nature's Fury
- Enduring Blow
Tips
- Bloodlight damage does not interrupt Second Wind healing, contributing to a great deal of extra healing over the course of the encounter.
- Use Heroic Leap, Intervene, and Door of Shadows to quickly get out of line of sight when the boss casts Earsplitting Shriek, along with Charge to get back.
For more information, please refer to our Shriekwing guide.
Huntsman Altimor
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Huntsman Altimor.
- Nature's Fury
- Enduring Blow
Tips
- Huntsman's Bond causes Gargons to share health with the boss, so Cleave is better for total damage dealt, though Warbreaker can burst down adds faster if needed.
- Spell Reflection can help mitigate Sinseeker damage.
- Use Heroic Leap, Charge, and Intervene to move around the room easier, particularly when dropping Petrifying Howl.
For more information, please refer to our Huntsman Altimor guide.
Sun King's Salvation
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Sun King's Salvation.
- Nature's Fury
- Enduring Blow
Tips

- Warbreaker can be saved to help stack and burst down Reborn Phoenix adds.
For more information, please refer to our Sun King's Salvation guide.
Artificer Xy'Mox
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Artificer Xy'Mox.

- Enduring Blow
Tips
- Bounding Stride will allow Heroic Leap to be available for every Edge of Annihilation.
- Spell Reflection can reflect the damage from Hyperlight Spark and prevent it from jumping to other allies.
- Spell Reflection can also clear one Stasis Trap.
For more information, please refer to our Artificer Xy'Mox guide.
Hungering Destroyer
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Hungering Destroyer.
- Nature's Fury
- Enduring Blow
Tips
- Spell Reflection can deflect the final explosion damage from Expunge or soak Obliterating Rift orbs spawned afterward.
- Use Heroic Leap to quickly move the boss further from the raid before he starts casting Consume. To get back to the raid quickly use Charge or Intervene on a closer ally.
For more information, please refer to our Hungering Destroyer guide.

For more information, please refer to our The Council of Blood guide.
Sludgefist
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Sludgefist.
- Nature's Fury
- Enduring Blow
Tips
- A single-target encounter with heavy movement, Ravager and Signet of Tormented Kings can be a very effective combination due to the cooldown syncing with Destructive Impact burn phases every minute.
- Dreadnaught remains a competitive talent though, thanks to extra Overpower resets when using the Sepulcher tier set.
- Use Heroic Leap to position yourself behind a pillar quickly before the boss charges with Hateful Gaze.
- Charge can negate the knockback and remain on target after Destructive Stomp, but but be sure that your chained partner knows to immediately begin moving toward the boss in order to avoid Shattering Chain.
For more information, please refer to our Sludgefist guide.
Stone Legion Generals
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Stone Legion Generals.
- Nature's Fury
- Signet of Tormented Kings
Tips
- Very heavy cleave target greatly favors using Signet of Tormented Kings, though Cleave and Dreadnaught can be talented if not using it.
- Wicked Laceration, Seismic Upheaval, and Unstable Footing can all be deflected with Spell Reflection.
- Save Heroic Leap to quickly get out of Reverberating Eruption.
For more information, please refer to our Stone Legion Generals guide.
Sire Denathrius
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Sire Denathrius.
- Nature's Fury
- Enduring Blow
Tips
- Warbreaker is better for dealing with Phase 1 adds, but Cleave is more suited to those in Phase 2.
- Hand of Destruction, Collective Trauma, and Inevitable are all reflectable with Spell Reflection.
- You can use Spell Reflection to deflect one tick of Burden of Sin.
- You can use Phial of Serenity to remove stacks of Carnage if you are Kyrian.
For more information, please refer to our Sire Denathrius guide.
