After the fall of Argus, the draenei's finest warriors followed the prime naaru Xe'ra across the cosmos in an eternal war to bring about the Legion's end. Since then, other survivors of the Burning Crusade have joined the ranks of the Lightforged.

Army of the Light is a new faction added in Patch 7.3 and you will be introduced to the faction once you land on Argus. The most prominent member, High Exarch Turalyon, who we have not seen for years, has now returned eagerly leading the faction to see the Legion's demise. This guide will take you through all details needed to increase your standing with the new faction and earn interesting rewards.

We found two Bind-to-Account items that help with catching up on reputation with the Broken Isles and Argus factions. Sources remain unknown for now.

• Nathrezim Tome of Manipulation is a tome that increases reputation gain with factions of the Broken Isles by 200% for 2 hours. The item is intended for alts and cannot be used above level 109. It drops from Vagath the Betrayed in Krokuun (61, 20).
• Demon's Soulstone is another item that increases reputation with the factions of the Broken Isles and Argus by 1,000. The item can only be used on Argus. It is especially useful for fresh alts that need to catch up on reputation with the Nightfallen. The item has a small chance to drop from Argus rare elites.

In this section, you will find out how to increase your reputation standing with the Army of the Light faction. Reputation with the faction is gained primarily from completing Argus chapters, Argus world quests, Argus missions, and weekly quests.

Certain story quests reward 75 reputation each (e.g. Overwhelming Power), but they will not be the main source of reputation. Their purpose (apart from the lore aspect) is to unlock world quests.

The most efficient way to increase your standing with the faction is by doing world quests. Each Army of the Light world quest will add 75 reputation to your current standing. To be granted access to Army of the Light world quests, you must first complete portions of the Argus story (separately for each zone).

• Krokuun World Quests will be unlocked once you complete the The Child of Light and Shadow quest in Krokuun.
• Mac'Aree World Quests will be accessible once you retrieve the The Sigil of Awakening in Mac'Aree.
• Antoran Wastes World Quests will be unlocked once the The Burning Heart quest is completed in Antoran Wastes.

Army of the Light world quests are exclusive to Krokuun and Antoran Wastes. They cannot be found in Mac'Aree.

Do not forget to ride the carousel for the WHEE! buff whenever the Darkmoon Faire is up, before doing world quests.

Completing four Army of the Light quests when the Army of the Light emissary quest is up grants:

• 1,500 reputation with Army of the Light
• Commendation of the Light (Artifact Power token)
• Gilded Trunk (emissary bag)

To unlock Argus missions and followers ( Krokuun Equipment) you must first complete the Remnants of Darkfall Ridge quest, which is a 16-hour mission. The Scouting Table can be found aboard the Vindicaar downstairs at 69, 54. There is no need to return to your Order Hall to begin the mission. Once unlocked, you will be able to complete missions that reward Army of the Light reputation insignias.

We found the following insignias associated with the Army of the Light faction:

• Army of the Light Insignia increases reputation by 250. The insignias can be earned from missions.
• Greater Army of the Light Insignia grants 750 reputation and the insignia is rewarded from The Kirin Tor of Dalaran.

We also found two Bind-to-Account insignias:

• Army of the Light Insignia is rewarded from world quests.
• Greater Army of the Light Insignia's source is unknown for now.

Besides regular quests, missions, and world quests, there are multiple Army of the Light weekly quests.

• Invasion Point Offensive grants 250 reputation.
• Commander's Downfall is a weekly quest for the new Argus world bosses. Completing it will increase your reputation by 350.
• Invasion Onslaught rewards 250 reputation and 150 Veiled Argunite after you finish 3 lesser Invasion Points.
• Supplying the Antoran Campaign rewards 75 reputation.

For every 10,000 reputation earned with Army of the Light faction beyond Exalted, you will complete the Supplies From the Army of the Light quest and earn Commendation of the Light (Artifact Power token) and Gleaming Footlocker, which has a chance to contain one of the following elekk mounts:

• Avenging Felcrusher
• Blessed Felcrusher
• Glorious Felcrusher

Holy Lightsphere also has a chance to drop from the Gleaming Footlocker.

Vindicator Jaelaana is the Army of the Light's Quartermaster. You can find her aboard the Vindicaar at 43, 73. The items cost gold and have a reputation requirement. Talking to the vendor makes you Friendly with the faction and faction discounts apply.

Sunglow currently has no reputation requirement. You can purchase 5 for 10 Gold. This weak alcoholic beverage makes you glow for 5 minutes.

Jewelcrafters can get Design: Mass Prospect Empyrium to prospect multiple batches of Empyrium at once for 9 Gold.

Scribes can learn a new Priest glyph, Technique: Glyph of the Lightspawn, for 100 Gold. The glyph transforms Shadowfiend into a Lightspawn.

The cloak is a great match for the new Seat of the Triumvirate dungeon gear. It can be purchased for 500 Gold after reaching Honored.

At Revered, you can buy multiple Rank 2 recipes for 2,000 Gold each.

• Design: Empyrial Deep Crown is a Jewelcrafting design that teaches you how to craft item level 885 Leather Head armor.
• Design: Empyrial Elemental Crown is a Jewelcrafting design that teaches you how to craft item level 885 Mail Head armor.
• Design: Empyrial Titan Crown is a Jewelcrafting design that teaches you how to craft item level 885 Plate Head armor.
• Recipe: Empyrial Breastplate is a Blacksmithing plan that teaches you how to craft item level 885 Plate Chests.
• Recipe: Fiendish Shoulderguards is a Leatherworking plan that teaches you how to craft item level 885 Leather Shoulders.
• Recipe: Fiendish Spaulders is a Leatherworking plan that teaches you how to craft item level 885 Mail Shoulders.
• Recipe: Lightweave Breeches is a Tailoring pattern that teaches you how to craft item level 885 Cloth Bracers.

Boon of the Lightbearer is the new Boon of the Bloodhunter and Primal Sargerite is the new Blood of Sargeras of Patch 7.3. The crafting material is needed for many 7.3 recipes and once you obtain Boon of the Lightbearer, you will occasionally loot Light's Fortune from the corpses of your enemies. The bag contains Primal Sargerite. Boon of the Lightbearer can be bought for 200 Gold.

Army of the Light Tabard can be purchased for 300 Gold from the Quartermaster, once you earn Exalted standing with the faction.

Lightforged Augment Rune is the "permanent" version of Defiled Augment Rune. It has the same stats as the old rune, but it will not get consumed on use. It costs 50,000 Gold.

Lightforged Warframe becomes available after reaching Exalted with Army of the Light and costs 500,000 Gold.

Officer of the Light is rewarded once you reach Exalted status with Army of the Light. The achievement is mandatory for Paragon of Argus that grants the Lightbringer title.
