On this page, you will find tips and tricks specifically tailored toward Augmentation Evokers and its toolkit based on the recommended talent build. Tips for Vexie Fullthrottle for Augmentation Evoker
Buff Tips
- Main Phase During this Phase, the boss will periodically summon some adds that will charge into the boss and get cleaved down. Classes with high cleave will be really buff targets here.
- Intermission During this Phase, the boss takes double damage and adds come in and try to speed up the bosses cast. These adds will despawn when the phase ends and so do not need to be killed. We recommend buffing classes that do high ST damage, especially if they gain more DPS from adds being present such as Destruction Warlock.
Defensive Tips
- We suggest using a charge of
Obsidian Scales if you get targeted with
Spew Oil.
- We suggest using either
Renewing Blaze or
Obsidian Scales you get
Bomb Voyage!.
Renewing Blaze is especially powerful for this mechanic as it will almost entirely mitigate the entire damage event.
- During
Mechanical Breakdown you will be receiving heavy damage from
Backfire and we suggest chaining
Zephyr,
Obsidian Scales and
Renewing Blaze one at a time after each other.
Mechanical Tips
- During
Mechanical Breakdown adds will spawn that will try and repair the boss. These adds will eventually run away when the phase completes and do not need to be killed. You can DoT them with a quick
Shadow Crash during the intermission to proc
Twist of Fate but largely they will be interrupted and stopped by the melee DPS.
Mythic Difficulty
- During the
Mechanical Breakdown intermission there will be a large add that travels towards the boss. You will want to
Landslide this add out of melee as you do not want this to reach the boss as it will stop you interrupting the other adds.

Buff Tips
- Main Phase During this Phase, the boss is purely Single Target and we
suggest following standard ST buff priority. The boss will use
Colossal Clash at approximately: 1:10, 2:40, and 4:20 into the fight. Unfortunately these do not line up well with our cooldowns but you should try to have
Breath of Eons for the 4:20 clash. Ideally you can also have it up for the 2:40 clash as well but that will depend on how much CDR you can achieve.
- Intermission During this Phase, the bosses are stacked together and classes with strong 2T cleave will excel. This will include classes like Destruction Warlock, Affliction Warlock, Shadow Priest.
Defensive Tips
- Use a defensive for
Colossal Clash.
- Use a defensive while soaking
Scrapbomb.
Mechanical Tips
- Use
Hover to avoid losing uptime when you need to dodge the ground mechanics. This is especially nice during
Thunderdrum Salvo. Avoid over-moving while on Torq side to avoid being stunned.
Mythic Difficulty
- On the Torq side he will spawn
Voltaic Images that fixate on players, on Mythic these will detonate when they expire as well as on contact. Use
Hover if this targets you and outside of the area before locking it down with crowd control like
Landslide.

Tips for Rik Reverb for Augmentation Evoker
Buff Tips
- This boss constantly summons Pyrotechnics adds continuously. These adds will spawn spread out and cannot be stacked up easily. We suggest buffing classes that excel in spread cleave like Shadow Priest, Balance Druid, Affliction Warlock and Destruction Warlock.
Defensive Tips
- Use either
Renewing Blaze or
Obsidian Scales whenever you soak a Pylon.
- During the intermission the boss is immune so you should use
Verdant Embrace on yourself on cooldown as well as focusing on dodging all mechanics and staying alive.
Mechanical Tips
- Use
Hover liberally to avoid losing damage to movement mechanics.
- Be sure to help soak players that are targeted with
Sound Cannon.
Mythic Difficulty
- More Information will be added once the raid has released.

Tips for Stix Bunkjunker for Augmentation Evoker
Buff Tips
- This boss starts out initially as Single Target damage so we suggest buffing
people following the normal Single Target priority on the opener. These adds
spawn shortly after opener so we suggest doing your opener without casting
Ebon Might and relying on
Breath of Eons to apply your initial
Ebon Might. This will allow you to change targets faster to classes with high AoE cleave.
- After the adds spawn we suggest prioritising buffing classes with high AOE cleave. Some of the adds will spawn spread out but they will usually end up being gripped into melee and crowd controlled so any class with excellent AOE is fine. We suggest just staying on classes that have good ST and AOE DPS throughout the entire fight.
Defensive Tips
- If you get the
Incinerator debuff we suggest using either
Obsidian Scales or
Renewing Blaze.
Mechanical Tips
- If you get picked for
Rolling Rubbish then you will need to roll around the boss room picking up adds and garbage piles to make your bar increase. After reaching maximum size crash into a
Discarded Doomsplosive. If you cannot see one because they have all been dealt with then crash into the boss. Do not drive into a Territorial Bombshell as this will break your Garbage Pile!
- Use
Hover liberally to maintain uptime throughout this encounter. If you get targeted by a Junkyard Hyena we suggest moving towards melee to make your tanks job of picking them up easier.
- Interrupt
Scrap Rockets casts from the Scrapmasters.
Mythic Difficulty
- More Information will be added once the raid has released.

Tips for Sprocketmonger Lockenstock for Augmentation Evoker
Buff Tips
- This boss is a pure Single Target encounter, so we recommend following the normal Single Target buff Priority.
Defensive Tips
- Press a defensive before
Product Deployment traps go off. This is especially important if you are the one soaking one of them!
Renewing Blaze is very good for dealing with
Sonic Ba-Boom. You will be able to use it on every other cast.
Mechanical Tips
- You can use
Cauterizing Flame to remove
Screwed! from people who mess up!
- Use
Hover whenever the boss electrifies an area to maintain uptime and keep casting as you dodge to the safe area.
Mythic Difficulty
- More Information will be added once the raid has released.

Tips for One-Armed Bandit for Augmentation Evoker
Buff Tips
- This boss initially is a Single Target encounter so we recommend following normal Single Target Buff Priorities on pull.
- The boss will eventually cast
Spin To Win! which will summon 3 adds. These adds are relatively spread out but we do not recommend drastically changing buff priority for these adds and instead just focusing on boss damage. Normal Spread cleave classes like Destruction Warlock, Affliction Warlock, Shadow Priest, Balance Druid and Devastation Evoker are good here though.
- The Boss will also Periodically summon Reel Assistants that will need to be cleaved down. These should be gripped into melee so any class with free cleave is fine to buff.
- If the boss chooses Bomb from any
Spin To Win! he will summon a number of Fiery Dynamite Booty adds. These will fixate players and walk towards them. If you can it is good to switch buff targets to a burst AOE class like Warrior or Demon Hunter before these spawn.
Defensive Tips
- There are no specific defensive tips on this boss.
Mechanical Tips
- Use
Hover whenever the coin is launched around the raid to make it easier to avoid without being hit.
- Interrupt Reel Assistants when they cast
Overload! as this can cause potentially lethal raid damage.
Mythic Difficulty
- More Information will be added once the raid has released.

Tips for Mug'Zee for Augmentation Evoker
Buff Tips
- This boss starts out as a single target encounter on pull so we suggest initially following Single Target Buff Priorities.
- After the opener there will be periodic adds spawning in the arena favouring classes that have good cleave. On testing this boss was relatively hectic so we would suggest buffing classes who do not lose much damage from movement like Beast Mastery Hunters or Devastation Evokers initially until you get an idea of who is doing good damage in your group.
Defensive Tips
- When the boss switches control they will cast
Elemental Carnage or
Uncontrolled Destruction. Be sure to at least one of your defensives here.
- We recommend using a defensive when soaking
Earthshaker Gaols.
Zephyr is especially good here as it will help other people take less damage as well as yourself.
- More Information will be added once the raid has released.
