Black Empire Catch-up Gear from Patch 8.3 (BfA 8.3)
Catch-up gear in Patch 8.3 comes in the form of Bind-to-Account tokens. You can get them by participating in Visions of N'Zoth content including Assaults, killing Rare Elites in Uldum, Vale of Eternal Blossoms, and in Horrific Visions.
Introduction
The following attributes apply to Black Empire Gear in Patch 8.3:
- Black Empire Gear tokens are Bind to Account, meaning you can send them to your alts.
- When consumed, they create item level 415 Azerite Armor (Head, Shoulders, Chest) and the remaining slots have item level 410.
- The items do not have any beneficial Benthic-like bonuses on them.
Black Empire Armor Sets
There are four sets (one per armor type) available and they share appearance with Raid Finder Ny'alotha armor sets.
Vile Manipulator (Cloth) Set
The set is intended for Mages, Priests, and Warlocks. It includes the following items:
Black Empire Cloth Belt;
Black Empire Cloth Boots;
Black Empire Cloth Bracers;
Black Empire Cloth Gloves;
Black Empire Cloth Helm;
Black Empire Cloth Leggings;
Black Empire Cloth Robes;
Black Empire Cloth Spaulders.
Insatiable Maw (Leather) Set
The set is intended for Demon Hunters, Druids, Monks, and Rogues. It includes the following items:
Black Empire Leather Belt;
Black Empire Leather Boots;
Black Empire Leather Bracers;
Black Empire Leather Chestpiece;
Black Empire Leather Gloves;
Black Empire Leather Helm;
Black Empire Leather Leggings;
Black Empire Leather Spaulders.
Nefarious Tormentor (Mail) Set
The following set is intended for Hunters and Shamans. It includes the following items:
Black Empire Mail Belt;
Black Empire Mail Boots;
Black Empire Mail Bracers;
Black Empire Mail Chestpiece;
Black Empire Mail Gloves;
Black Empire Mail Helm;
Black Empire Mail Leggings;
Black Empire Mail Spaulders.
Malignant Leviathan (Plate) Set
The final set is for Death Knights, Paladins, and Warriors. It includes these items:
