Cauldron of Carnage Raid Guide
Quick TLDR Guide
Before the pull:
- Split the raid into two teams. These teams will start on Flarendo (Fire/Left) or Torq (Lightning/Gorilla):
- The teams should be an even split of your raid team.
- Tanks: Keep these bosses on the opposite sides of the room from each other.
Flarendo (Fire/Left):
- Healers: Increasing amounts of ticking raid damage will happen during this phase. This is reset by changing sides in the intermission.
- Move away from the group with
Blastburn Roarcannon. Stay in melee range to make dodging the beam easier.
- Soak
Scrapbomb and do not get knocked into the beam.
- Spread out with
Molten Pool and avoid the
Fiery Waves.
- Tanks: Move away from the group after
Eruption Stomp starts to cast. You will shoot fire waves from your location.
Torq (Lightning/Gorilla):
- Healers: Increasing amounts of ticking raid damage will happen during this phase. This is reset by changing sides in the intermission.
- Try to not move too much as moving will increase the amount of
Static Charge you have. If this bar gets full you will be stunned.
- Avoid
Thunderdrum Salvo pools.
- Heroic: Keep the
Voltaic Images away from yourself and other players.
- Tanks: Use cooldown(s) to reduce the damage of
Lightning Bash.
Intermission:
- The bosses will now charge at each other in the middle and spawns puddles to avoid.
- During this period the damage immunity for the bosses being too close to each other does not apply.
- Swap sides during this phase.
Strategy Guide: Full Guide
Before the pull:
- Split the raid into two teams. These teams will start on Flarendo (Fire/Left) or Torq (Lightning/Gorilla):
- The teams should be an even split of your raid team.
- Tanks: Keep these bosses on the opposite sides of the room from each other.
Flarendo (Fire/Left):
When fighting Flarendo you should aim to play close to the boss if you are a ranged player as mechanics ( Scrapbomb
and
Blastburn Roarcannon) are baited on player locations and being further away will end up being a DPS loss for the raid.
- Healers: All players on this side of the room will have stacks of
Blistering Spite applied to them. This deals increasing amounts of damage as the phase goes on. These stacks are reset by changing boss during the intermission.
- Tanks: Move away from the group after
Eruption Stomp starts to cast. You will shoot fire waves from your location.
- Bomb & Beam Combo:
Scrapbomb will spawn on a players location. All players should move into this to soak it. This will deal raid wide damage (including the other side) based on the amount of players that soaked it. You should not try and solo soak it.
- While you are soaking this one player will be targeted with
Blastburn Roarcannon. This beam will follow the player and then start the cast. Once the position has been locked in run back into the
Scrapbomb to soak it.
- The
Scrapbomb will now detonate and knock players away from the centre of the bomb. Be very careful to not get knocked into the beam!
- After the
Scrapbomb explodes fire waves will shoot out from its location.
- The raid should now spread out as everyone will have
Molten Pool rings around them. These will shoot deal damage to any player inside the circle.
Torq (Lightning/Gorilla):
- Healers: All players on this side of the room will have stacks of
Galvanized Spite applied to them. This deals increasing amounts of damage as the phase goes on. These stacks are reset by changing boss during the intermission.
- All players on this side of the room will have
Static Charge applied to them. This is visually shown as an extra energy bar. When you move this increases in value, and when you stand still it drains. If the bar ever gets full you will be stunned for 6 seconds!
Thunderdrum Salvo pools will spawn at the locations of every player for 6 seconds. A simple rule to follow is to spawn 2 and then move. You can stutter step after each one but this will limit the amount of space available for both yourself and other players.

- Tanks: Use cooldown(s) to reduce the damage of
Lightning Bash. Any physical damage taken will be dealt again as Nature damage.
Intermission:
- The bosses will now charge at each other in the middle and spawns puddles to avoid.
- During this period the damage immunity for the bosses being too close to each other does not apply.
- Swap sides during this phase.
Heroic Changes:
- Torq will now spawn
Voltaic Images. These will fixate on a player for 12 seconds. If any player runs into it, it will explode and leave behind a silence puddle.
- Flarendo
Scrapbomb now leaves behind a
Molten Pool after it explodes. You will want to pull the boss to the side of the room to spawn bombs there to not run out of space later on in the fight.
- Flarendo now applies
Molten Phlegm to the group. This will require a large amount of healing.
Mythic Strategy
Currently, this tab will only contain information on what changes on Mythic. A more robust strategy will be added after the raid goes live.
Mythic Changes:
- Both sides will have toy versions of the bosses thrown into the arena. Kick them towards the middle so they have a
Tiny Tussle. This deals raid wide damage. If all toys are not dealt with before the intermission they will all explode and deal increased damage.
- Flarendo will now fire three beams in a cone from
Blastburn Roarcannon.
- Torq
Voltaic Images now explode when they time out in addition to someone running into one.
