Council of Exarchs Reputation Farming Guide (WoD 6.1.2)
Table of Contents
The Council of Exarchs is one of 3 Alliance-only factions introduced in the Warlords of Draenor expansion. Their main area of operation is Shadowmoon Valley.
As with many Warlords of Draenor factions, you will obtain most of the reputation required to reach Exalted status through normal questing in Draenor. The final push from Revered to Exalted must be done through the killing of certain mobs.
In this guide, we will present you the rewards you can obtain from this faction, as well as how to go all the way from Neutral to Exalted.
Rewards
All Council of Exarchs rewards are purchased from the faction's Quartermaster, Vindicator Nuurem, who is located in Stormshield. Among them, a mount and a Garrison follower will probably be of most interest.
In addition to these many items, reaching Exalted also rewards you with the Council of Exarchs achievement and the Prelate title.
Below, we present you all of the rewards that can be purchased from the Quartermaster, sorted by reputation level.
Friendly
Once you reach Friendly status, you can purchase Exarch Elixir from Vindicator Nuurem, for 1 and 5 . This is an Elixir that grants you a 30-minute buff. The buff gives your attacks a chance to deal Holy damage, and increases your movement speed by 5%. It can only be used in Shadowmoon Valley.
Honored
Once you reach Honored status, you can purchase two rewards from Vindicator Nuurem.
- Tranquility of the Exarchs costs 500 . It is a trinket that summons a Paladin Protector to fight by your side.
- Permanent Time Bubble costs 50 and 1,000 . It is a vanity toy that encases your character in a golden bubble for 20 seconds.
Revered
Once you reach Revered status, you can purchase 3 rewards from Vindicator Nuurem.
- Relic of Karabor costs 2,500 . It is an additional Hearthstone (with a 4-hour cooldown) that takes you to Karabor in Shadowmoon Valley.
- Contract: Cleric Maluuf costs 5,000 . This grants you the Garrison follower Cleric Maluuf, a Holy Priest.
- Draenei Micro Defender is a battle pet that costs 2,000 and 1,000 .
Exalted
Once you reach Exalted status, you can purchase two rewards from Vindicator Nuurem.
- The Dusty Rockhide mount can be purchased for 5,000 and 5,000 .
- The Council of Exarchs Tabard can be purchased for 100 . The tabard only serves cosmetic purposes.
Gaining Reputation
Gaining reputation with the Council of Exarchs is very straightforward. You can reach Revered status (and a good deal of the way towards Exalted) simply by questing.
- A great many quests in Shadowmoon Valley will reward you with Council of Exarchs reputation.
- A number of quests in Talador also reward you with Council of Exarchs reputation.
- Several Garrison quests (the ones you need to complete in order to unlock access to your various buildings) reward you with Council of Exarchs reputation.
- Completing the And Justice for Thrall quest in Nagrand also grants Council of Exarchs reputation.
In order to reach Exalted status, however, you will need to kill level 100 mobs. These can be found in three areas of Shadowmoon Valley.
- in the Socrethar's Rise area, in the south of Shadowmoon Valley;
- in the Pillars of Fate area, near the zone border with Spires of Arak;
- on the Darktide Roost Island, in the south of Shadowmoon Valley.
