Tormented Fragments

When a player exits Belac's Prison, a Tormented Fragment will spawn at Belac's location. The Tormented Fragment will fixate a random player and slowly chase them, dealing melee damage if they get in range. For each Fragment that spawns, it will increase the damage of any other active adds by 15% via Harrowing Reconstitution Icon Harrowing Reconstitution. When a Tormented Fragment is killed, it will begin a short cast that deals heavy Fire damage to anyone within 8 yards.

2.

Strategy

This encounter bears a great resemblance to its Normal and Heroic counterparts, featuring only a single additional mechanic making an appearance on the Mythic version. The Tormented Fragments spawned should be prioritized by ranged players. Multi-dot classes excel at handling the adds while continuing to deal effective damage to Belac and Atrigan.

All players must be spatially conscious of the Tormented Fragments when they are low on health. It can be easy to lose track of Fragments fixated on other raid members, however, any unwary raid member caught in the self-destruct will suffer mortal damage without the use of a personal defensive cooldown.

The Demonic Inquisition is an extremely simple encounter on Mythic difficulty, demanding only cerebral management of the Tormented Fragments to ensure victory.
