Author note with regards to recommended Essences — Different ranks have different power levels, and what ranks the player has unlocked at any given time dictate which essences perform the best. In order to offer a more realistic representation of actual progress, we provide 2 essence lists per fight: one list that uses Rank 2 for every essence, while the second assumes the player has unlocked everything at Rank 3.

Tips
In this standard single-target first boss of the raid, make intelligent use
of Demonic Gateway and
Demonic Circle to minimize the amount of
movement required when targeted by
Inversion, or when affected by
Overflow. Remember to keep moving every now and then in order to keep
stacks low when affected by
Rimefrost; viceversa try to move the least
amount possible when affected by
Septic Taint. It is imperative to
dodge
Overwhelming Barrage.

Tips
This is a single-target boss with periodic movements and additional targets.
Darkest Depths reduces all incoming healing from others by 100%, which
means you can partially mitigate incoming damage, even if you do not have
Bioluminescence. Stay at least 4 yards away from everyone else to
avoid triggering
Bioelectric Feelers. Feel free to apply
Immolate on Shimmerscale Pufferfishes for additional resources but
make sure they do not die before time. During the transition, avoid
Jellyfishes at all cost.
Burning Rush does not work underwater; use
the Slipstreams to move between platforms instead.

Tips
This is a single-target boss with frequent movements and 2 phases. Make use
of Demonic Circle to facilitate movements, such as dodging
Arcanados or moving away from the group when targeted by
Arcane Bomb. Affliction and Destruction can use Imp to dispel
Arcane Bombs autonomously, helping healers. During Phase 2, you can
use previously placed
Demonic Circle to bypass
Squall Traps,
but
Demonic Gateway will still trigger the Arcanados.

Tips
This is a simple single-target fight with light movements and few
self-explanatory mechanics. Hold cooldowns at the beginning, since you want to
use them when her shield is down. Worldvein Resonance's minor power is
a safe option here due low movements, which translates in high uptime; but make
sure at least 3 other players nearby you are using the minor. Help
intercepting Rippling Waves but pace yourself in doing so, to avoid
damage spikes on the whole raid.
Demonic Circle can be used to help
deal with the Corals in the back if you are marked with a rune.

Tips
This is a single-target fight with periodic adds, light movement and a
gauntlet between Phase 1 and 2. During Phases 1 and 2, try to time
Cataclysm with add waves. With Vision of Perfection, you
should get your second
Summon Infernal right in time for the second add wave.
Choosing
Demon Skin allows you to mitigate more of the incoming damage
throughout the encounter, but taking
Burning Rush will allow you to
navigate faster across the gauntlet. Felhunter can be used to interrupt
Conductive Pulse in Phase 2.

Tips
This is a 2-target council encounter with sporadic adds. Make use of
Demonic Circle and
Demonic Gateway to minimize movements
required to handle
Frenetic Charge,
Zealous Eruption and
Stand Alone!. Keep
Havoc on cooldown and try to maximize the
amount of damage you can apply in those windows. Pay attention to Queen
Azshara when she casts
Repeat Performance Decree: you want to avoid
casting the same ability twice in a row, lest you incur 1.5 seconds of silence.
Try to move every few seconds with during
Deferred Sentence to avoid
building too many stacks, unless your strategy includes planned discharges in
groups. When targeted by
Fanatical Verdict you have 8 seconds to
position yourself 7 yards away from everyone else. Stagger
Potent Sparks deaths to avoid wiping the raid.

Tips
This is a single-target fight in 3 different realms, with periodic adds and
light movement. During the first phase, dodge Crushing Grasp
tentacles. Keep
Immolate on every Horrific Summoners and try
to maximize your
Havoc windows. Imp can dispel
Dread, in
case you need to support healers, but keep in mind that doing so will trigger
raid wide damage for each dispel. Save
Cataclysm for when Horrific
Visions are grouped in melee range.
At 70% Za'qul will open 3 orange pools leading to the Delirium Realm for
those assigned players. Inside the realm you gain 80% haste but you will take
increasing shadow damage until you are forced out and back in the Physical
Realm. Consider holding both offensive and defensive cooldowns if you are
assigned to the Delirium Realm to maximize the amount of time and damage
inside. Smart placement of Demonic Circle and
Demonic Gateway
can help navigate the room, especially when tasked to enter the Fear Realm,
where you have to kill Horrific Summoners quickly.

Tips
This is an encounter with multiple phases. Warlocks innate survivability
makes them a good choice for charging runes. Phase 1 starts with 2 targets, so
position yourself in order to maximize DOT uptime on both. Avoid
Lightning Orbs and consider using Felhunter to help interrupting
Chain Lightning. Place
Demonic Circle near the edge of
the platform to deal with
Beckon and
Charged Spear, just
make sure nobody is standing between you and Cyranus if you are
targeted. Soak Arcane orbs and focus Overzealous Hulk when it
spawns.
During intermissions, follow the decrees and soak Arcane Orbs in
this priority.
In Phase 2, reposition Demonic Gateway and
Demonic Circle
accordingly with your raid strategy, to handle
Arcane Burst and
Arcane Detonation mechanics. Try to line up
Phantom Singularity and
Essence of the Focusing Iris for when adds
spawn.
During Phase 3, if marked by the spear, move behind a Tidemistress to
break her shield. Keep Immolate rolling on every target, but try to
not kill Myrmidon before both Tidemistresses' shields are down.
Maximize your
Havoc windows in order to burst down
Tidemistresses while cleaving boss at the same time.
Enter Phase 4 with all offensive/defensive cooldown up:
Essence of Azeroth will empower you for 40 seconds before killing you
instantly, whereas
System Shock is a powerful damage over time that
will last 60 seconds on you. Dodge the
Piercing Gazes and be prepared
to drain the Ancient Ward when Short Circuit happens.
