Dominance Offensive Daily Quests Guide (WoD 6.1.2)
Table of Contents
Dominance Offensive is an in-game event released in Patch 5.1. It recounts
the establishment of Domination Point (the first Horde settlement on Pandaria) in
western Krasarang Wilds. Dominance Offensive is also the name of the Horde
faction that you will interact with at Domination Point.
As the event progresses (i.e., as your reputation increases through doing daily quests), you will be given short quest lines that contain a lot of lore information regarding the events that will eventually lead to the combined Alliance-Horde assault on Orgrimmar to dislodge Garrosh Hellscream from power (the culminating battle of the Mists of Pandaria expansion, which was announced at Blizzcon 2011).
Overview
Dominance Point starts by Meet the Scout, a quest automatically given to level 90 players on Pandaria. After a short introductory quest line, where you will witness the arrival of Garrosh Hellscream on Pandaria and the construction of Domination Point, you will be able to start doing daily quests and increase your reputation with Domination Point.
As your standing with the Domination Offensive faction increases, you will be given short quest lines to complete. They usually contain a lot of lore information, which we chose not to detail here to avoid spoiling your experience.
Dominance Offensive and Operation: Shieldwall, its Alliance counterpart, have been touted as a World PvP Event. In reality, World PvP is limited to taking a few objectives that grant useful (but nowhere near mandatory) buffs to players of the holding faction. See our dedicated section for more information.
There are a number of rewards associated with the event, mainly a mount and new Valor Point gear.
We estimate that it will take a month worth of daily quests to reach exalted reputation with Dominance Offensive.
You can speed up the process by doing the Dominance Offensive Work Order at your farm (see our Tillers guide).
Grand Commendation of the Dominance Offensive
As soon as you reach revered reputation with
the Dominance Offensive, make sure to purchase the Grand Commendation of the Dominance Offensive from
the faction quartermaster. Using
this item will allow you to reach exalted reputation
much faster.
Champion A Faction
In order to increase your reputation gains with the Dominance Offensive, you can choose to champion them in the reputation tab of your character panel. This will cause you to gain addition reputation when doing various activities, but mostly through running Heroic dungeons and scenarios.
Rewards
In addition to the gear, which we describe next, you can earn a few rewards.
Grand Armored Wyvern is a mount sold by Tuskripper Grukna for 2000
,
after you reach exalted reputation with Dominance
Offensive.
Grand Commendation of the Dominance Offensive unlocks a 100% reputation gain
on your other characters. This item can be bought for 50
from
Tuskripper Grukna, after you reach revered reputation
with Dominance Offensive.
Dominance Offensive Campaign is an achievement that you will earn
after doing all the quest lines that will be offered to you as your
reputation increases. It will require you to reach
exalted reputation.
Grand Wyvern is a flying mount that you receive as a reward for the
final quest of the chain (once you have reached exalted reputation).
I'm In Your Base, Killing Your Dudes is an achievement that you will earn
after killing all three Alliance Champions in Lion's Landing. See our
section on rare elites, for more information.
Gear
All the gear is sold by Tuskripper Grukna, the Dominance Offensive quartermaster. Reputation requirements are the following:
- items that cost 1,750
require no reputation;
- items that cost 1,250
require honored reputation.
- items that cost 1,750
require revered reputation.

Quest Lines
As you progress through the event, you will unlock small
quest lines. Each quest line completes an objective
of the Dominance Offensive Campaign achievement.
Domination Point
The Domination Point objective of Dominance Offensive Campaign
is completed during the introductory quest line. The introductory quest line
is started by Meet the Scout and continues with The Might of the Warchief
and Domination Point.
After an impressive cut scene, Domination Point will be built and you will be able to activate the flight point there.
Also, you will receive Dagger in the Dark, which sends you to the Dagger in the Dark scenario. This quest seems to have no bearing on the Dominance Offensive event, but we encourage you to do the scenario.
The Voice of the Gods
After reaching 1,000 friendly reputation, you will be given Rise Of An Empire by General Nazgrim at Domination Point. This quest requires you to go to the Shrine of Two Moons to find Garrosh. There, you will be given Buried Secrets, followed by Voice of the Gods.
Completing the latter quest will complete the The Voice of Gods
objective of Dominance Offensive Campaign. After a few days, you will
receive a mail informing you that the discovery you made is very important.
Attached to the mail, you will find a copy of the report sent to Garrosh
(
Reliquary Facsimile).
The Horde is Family
After reaching 5,000
friendly reputation, you will be offered
Someone You Should See by Messenger Grummle at Domination Point. This
quest will be followed by Regeneration Takes Time from Chen Stormstout
(type /tar Chen at Binan Village to find him) and
Find Thrall! from Vol'jin. After finding Thrall, he will give you
The Horde Is Family and De-Subjugation. Completing these two
quests will complete the The Horde is Family objective of
Dominance Offensive Campaign.
Blood for Blood
After reaching 3,000 honored
reputation, you will be given To Mogujia by General Nazgrim
at Domination Point. There, you will meet with Lor'themar Theron,
who will give you Bloodlines, followed by Ancient Guardians
and The Korune (both given by Fanlyr Silverthorn). Completing
these quests will complete the Blood for Blood objective of
Dominance Offensive Campaign.
The Korune
After reaching 6,500 honored reputation,
you will be given To the Valley! by General Nazgrim
at Domination Point. At the Valley of the Emperor, in Kun-Lai Summit,
Lor'themar Theron will give you the follow-up quests:
Legacy of the Korune, Clearing a Path, and Trapping the Leader.
Completing these quests will complete the The Korune objective of
Dominance Offensive Campaign.
Pride
After reaching 10,800 honored reputation,
you will be given Echoes of Thunder by General Nazgrim at Domination Point
and followed by A Gathering Storm (at the Shrine of Two Moons). Completing this
latter quest completes the Pride objective of
Dominance Offensive Campaign.
Rise of the Blood Elves
After reaching 2,700 revered reputation,
you will be given Get My Results! by General Nazgrim at Domination
Point. This requires you to travel to Silvermoon City, where you can turn the
quest in to Lor'themar Theron. He will then offer you What's in the Box?,
a follow-up quest that requires you to talk to two NPCs in Silvermoon city,
interact with an object, and defeat the mob that spawns from it. Completing
this quest will complete the Rise of the Blood Elves objective of
Dominance Offensive Campaign.
Secrets of the Past
After reaching 6,900 revered reputation, you
will be given The Kun-Lai Expedition by General Nazgrim at Domination
Point. This requires you to travel to Garosh'ar Expedition in Kun-Lai Summit
(Tak-Tak will take you there). Once there, you must simply turn the quest
in to Baine Bloodhoof. Baine will then offer you Ties with the Past,
and on turning this quest in to Baine, he will offer you Memory Wine.
Completing Memory Wine will complete the Secrets of the Past objective
of Dominance Offensive Campaign.
The Divine Bell
After reaching 10,700 revered reputation, you
will be given The Ruins of Korune by General Nazgrim at Domination
Point. This requires you to travel to the Ruins of Korune (Tak Tak is available
for transportation, yet again). Once you get to your destination, simply turn
the quest in to Ishi, and accept the follow-up quest,
Th. Once you complete the quest, you can turn it in to
Ishi, and this will also complete the The Divine Bell objective of
Dominance Offensive Campaign.
The Darnassus Operation
After reaching 14,700 revered reputation, you
will be given Insertion by General Nazgrim at Domination Point.
The follow-up quest, given to you by Fanlyr Silverthorn, is called
The Darnassus Mission. Finally, completing this quest leads to the
Victorious Return follow-up, which can then be turned into General
Nazgrim back at Domination Point. This last quest will also complete the The Darnassus Operation objective of Dominance Offensive Campaign.
The Purge of Dalaran
After reaching 18,500 revered reputation, you will be given The Situation In Dalaran by General Nazgrim at Domination Point. On turning this quest in to Grand Magister Rommath, you will be given It Starts in the Sewers, followed by Violence in the Arena. Rommath will then give you the Hand of the Silver Covenant quest, and the A Tactical Assault quest after that. At this point, he will offer you three quests:
- The Silver Covenant's Stronghold;
- The Kirin Tor's True Colors;
- Krasus' Landing.
Completing all three quests will give you the The Remaining Sunreavers
quest, also awarded by Grand Magister Rommath. Finally, on turning this quest
in, Rommath will offer you One Last Grasp. Finishing this quest completes
the The Purge of Dalaran objective of
Dominance Offensive Campaign.
Breath of Darkest Shadow
After reaching exalted reputation, you will be
given The Bell Speaks, byt General Nazgrim at Domination Point. You
have to complete a single follow-up quest to this, called
Breath of Darkest Shadow, which involves a fair amount of lore-related
events, and rewards you with the Dominance Offensive Campaign (it
constitutes the Breath of Darkest Shadow objective of the achievement),
as well as with the
Grand Wyvern flying mount.
World PvP Objective
The World PvP objectives will appear on your map as soon as you complete the introductory quest line. There are 6 objectives and if your faction holds them, you receive a buff or a perk when you are in their vicinity. These buffs/perks can be very useful during the daily quests.

Lion's Landing Commissions and Related Perks
When killing Alliance NPCs in Krasarang Wilds, you will loot
Lion's Landing Commissions, which you can use to buy a number of
items from Ongrom Black Tooth at Domination Point.
Daily Quests
Ongrom Black Tooth sells 3 items (for 30 Lion's Landing Commissions
each) that you can use to start chains of daily quests. Each chain rewards
a total of 200 reputation and consists of 3 quests. The first quest requires
you to gather some items. The second quest makes you use the items you gathered
to lay a trap for capturing a wild animal. The third quest is given after you
defeat the wild animal. Turning in the third quest will give you a small
damage buff.
You can only do one quest chain per day.
Ancient Bloodcrown Crane
Sturdy Crane Snare starts Beastmaster's Hunt: The Crane, which is
followed by Beastmaster's Quarry: The Crane. After turning in this second quest to
Jorn Skyseer, you will be able to ask him to fight the
Ancient Bloodcrown Crane that you have just brought him. If you defeat
the Crane, Jorn Skyseer will give you Ancient's Fall. Upon
turning in this last quest, you will be rewarded with 200 reputation
and
Presence of the Crane will be cast on you (it lasts 30 minutes).
Krasari Elder
Sturdy Tiger Trap starts Beastmaster's Hunt: The Tiger, which is
followed by Beastmaster's Quarry: The Tiger. After turning in this second quest to
Jorn Skyseer, you will be able to ask him to fight the
Elder Krasari that you have just brought him. If you defeat
the Tiger, Jorn Skyseer will give you End of an Elder. Upon
turning in this last quest, you will be rewarded with 200 reputation
and
Presence of the Tiger will be cast on you (it lasts 30 minutes).
Colossal Viseclaw
Sturdy Crab Crate starts Beastmaster's Hunt: The Crab, which is
followed by Beastmaster's Quarry: The Crab. After turning in this second quest to
Jorn Skyseer, you will be able to ask him to fight the
Colossal Viseclaw that you have just brought him. If you defeat
the Crab, Jorn Skyseer will give you A Colossal Victory. Upon
turning in this last quest, you will be rewarded with 200 reputation
and
Presence of the Crab will be cast on you (it lasts 30 minutes).
Important Tip
You do not need to do the initial quests to get the last quest that finally rewards reputation. What you can do is wait at the arena that a group engage one of the elites. Then, simply attack the elite with them. When it will die, you will be given the final quest, even if you did not do the other quests.
Portals
For 5 Lion's Landing Commissions, you can buy a portal
to:
- Sparkrocket Outpost (
Portal Fuel: Sparkrocket Outpost);
- the Shrine of Two Moons (
Portal Fuel: Shrine of Two Moons);
- Orgrimmar (
Portal Fuel: Orgrimmar).
Portals appear next to the portal NPC, who is located right next to the vendors.
Buffs
For 10 Lion's Landing Commissions, you can buy an item that you
can use to summon an NPC that will buff nearby Horde players. You can
only use this item in Domination Point and the NPCs will be summoned
near the large bonfire (next to the vendors). If an NPC is already present,
there is no need to re-summon it. The buffs given only work in Krasarang
Wilds. See the table below for more details.

In addition, you can buy a Domination Point Banquet for 30
Lion's Landing Commissions. It will appear next to the vendors
and will grant Horde players who eat from it +250 to their main statistic
in Krasarang Wilds.
Defensive Units
To help defend the World PvP Objectives that your faction is currently holding, you can hire guards. To do so, you must be near the objective and use the item that corresponds to the objective.
Guard Contract: Outpost costs 40
Lion's Landing Commissions and can be used to hire guards to defend the Ogudei Shrine (next to Lion's Landing) or the Blacksand Oilfield (close to Domination Point).
Guard Contract: Graveyard costs 60

Guard Contract: Tower costs 80
Lion's Landing Commissions and can be used to hire guards to defend the Lion's Landing Tower or the Domination Point Tower.
Miscelleanous Items
A Crate of Horde Banners can be bought for 25
Lion's Landing Commissions. We have yet to determine what
these banners do.
Box of Overridden Excavationbots can be bought for 125
Lion's Landing Commissions and contain Overridden Excavationbots,
which you can use to fight at your side.
Obelisk of Deception costs 500
Lion's Landing Commissions
and
Rodent Crate costs 2,000
Lion's Landing Commissions.
We have yet to determine what these items do.
Daily Quests
As you can see in the image below, there are four different questing locations. Each day, you will receive your daily quests (or an introductory quest leading to them) from NPCs in Domination Point. You will always complete a total of 5 daily quests awarding reputation, for a total reputation gain of 900.

Each daily quest rewards 5 and 2
Lesser Charms of Good Fortune.

(remember to use Portal Fuel: Sparkrocket Outpost to get there faster).
There, you will receive Taking Advantage from Belloc Brightblade.
Use the portal to the Ruins of Ogudei to turn in this quest to
Kaelis Sunsoar and finally receive your daily quests.

For Legacy of Ogudei, you will need to attack pairs of Spiritbound Arcanists and Spiritbound Brutalizers. Both units share a health pool and we advise you to focus on the Brutalizer, as the Arcanist only does a sort of Shadow Nova-type of attack that you can easily avoid.
Lion's Landing
When Lion's Landing is the questing location of the day,
Blood Guard Gro'tash at Dominance Point will first give you
The Time Is Now!. This quest will send you to the Sparkrocket Outpost

When killing one of these NPCs, you will have a chance to loot:
Mark of the Hardened Grunt;
