Dragonriding Mount Customization Options in Dragonflight

As you explore the Dragon Isles and beyond, you will find items called Drakewatcher Manuscripts that teach you customization options for your drake. Drakewatcher Manuscripts are obtained from various sources. You will receive them from Dragonflight Dungeons, quests, Renown, Reputation, and more. Once you have used those items, the customization options will be available to you at the Rostrum of Transformation.

The Rostrum of Transformation is where you may select a different appearance for your drake based on what you have unlocked. Every outpost has a Rostrum if you wish to return and choose a new look.

Patch 10.2 adds two new Dragonriding mounts — Flourishing Whimsydrake and Grotto Netherwing Drake.

Reins of Anu'relos, Flame's Guidance drops from Mythic Fyrakk. This is the first non-drake Dragonriding mount added in Dragonflight. It also works as a Druid Flight Form.

Players who defeat Fyrakk on Heroic Difficulty and earn Ahead of the Curve: Fyrakk the Blazing will receive the Shadowflame Fyrakk transformation for their Renewed Proto-Drake.

The Blazing transformation has a small chance to drop from Fyrakk on all difficulties.

The Season 3 gladiator mount is a Winding Slitherdrake transformation.

Completing the Tyr questline in the patch unlocks White Scales for your Dragonriding mounts.

Patch 10.1.5 adds the following Infinite Dragonflight-themed Drakewatcher Manuscripts that drop from the final boss of the Dawn of the Infinite mega-dungeon:

• Cliffside Wylderdrake: Infinite Scales;
• Highland Drake: Infinite Scales;
• Renewed Proto-Drake: Infinite Scales;
• Windborne Velocidrake: Infinite Scales;
• Winding Slitherdrake: Infinite Scales.

You can also obtain the Windborne Velocidrake: Teal Scales for 30 Riders of Azeroth Badges during the Kalimdor Cup.

The following new customization options are available for Dragonriding Drakes in Patch 10.1:

Highland Drake: Embodiment of the Hellforged is a Drakewatcher Manuscript with a small chance to drop from Scalecommander Sarkareth on Mythic difficulty. It unlocks a Full Transformation customization option for the Highland Drake Dragonriding mount.

The Gladiator mount Mythic+ is a Full Transformation available for the Winding Slitherdrake learned via Highland Drake: Embodiment of the Crimson Gladiator.

All the Winding Slitherdrake customization options are new. You can get the following ones from Ponzo in Loamm.

• Winding Slitherdrake: Cluster Chin Horn — Costs 55 Barter Bricks.
• Winding Slitherdrake: Hairy Brow — Costs 55 Barter Bricks.
• Winding Slitherdrake: Curled Nose — Costs 55 Barter Bricks.

Patch 10.0.7 adds multiple new customization options for your Dragonriding Drakes.

• Renewed Proto-Drake: Antlers — Can be looted in the Grand Obsidian Cache located in a hidden room in the Forbidden Reach. You must first get Neltharion's Toolkit from Zskera Vaults. Then, go to the Waking Shores (36, 48) and use the item on the broken waygate to get teleported to the room with the chest.
• Renewed Proto-Drake: Malevolent Horns — Requires Revered with Winterpelt Furbolg.
• Renewed Proto-Drake: Plated Brow — Has a chance to drop from the new Dragonriding Racing bag in the Forbidden Reach ( Reach Racer's Purse).
• Renewed Proto-Drake: Stubby Snout — Requires Honored with Winterpelt Furbolg.
• Highland Drake: Taperered Nose — Sold by Kraxxus, the Valdrakken Accord envoy for 2,500 Elemental Overflow.
• Windborne Velocidrake: Exposed Finned Neck — Sold by Kraxxus, the Valdrakken Accord envoy for 2,500 Elemental Overflow.
• Renewed Proto-Drake: Plated Jaw — Item source is unknown as of Patch 10.1.
• Renewed Proto-Drake: Pronged Tail — Item source unknown.
• Renewed Proto-Drake: Bruiser Horns — Source is currently unknown.

Renewed Proto-Drake has one Full Transformation available, which can be collected in the Vault of the Incarnates raid. It drops in all difficulties, including Raid Finder.
