Below, you will find our recommended leveling build and talent pickup order for your Fire Mage in MoP Remix.

Gems are one of the unique ways to augment your character in MoP Remix, offering offensive, defensive, and utility benefits. On this page, we list the best gems for each type. To learn more about Gems in MoP Remix in general, check out our dedicated page below.

• Meta Gem: Lifestorm for Raids / Oblivion Sphere for dungeons or outdoor content
• Cogwheel Gem: Mostly personal preference, but Blink is always good, whereas Soulshape is very good for outdoor travel
• Prismatic Gems:

  You will have a tremendous amount of stats as you start unlocking all Gem slots, and there is no single best stat to stack. Getting a lot of Haste and Versatility is a strong option, and try to avoid Critical Strike and Mastery.

• Tinker Gems:
  • Windweaver
  • Brilliance
  • Sunstrider's Flourish
  • Enkindle
  • Hailstorm
  • Incendiary Terror
  • Lightning Rod
  • Meteor Storm
  • Slay
  • Explosive Barrage
  • Brittle — Mainly for dungeons.
  • Wildfire

To keep things simple while leveling and learning the spec, use the slider to select your level, and watch as the leveling rotation grows with each level!

When using our slider, note that some talents may appear sooner than you expect them to in the rotation. This is because we have two recommended builds above, each taking talents at slightly different times and sometimes entirely different talents.

Starting at Level 1, you only have one main attack ability: Frostbolt.

1. Make sure you keep Arcane Intellect up at all times. Keep in mind, if you die, you have to re-cast it. Otherwise, just cast it once per hour.
2. Cast Time Warp when you are about to go into a big pull or boss fight. Keep in mind you can only gain the benefit once every 10 minutes, even though the cooldown is 5 minutes.
3. Use Fire Blast on cooldown.
4. Cast Arcane Explosion when there are 3 or more targets.
5. Cast Combustion when it is ready and you have at least a couple of charges of Fire Blast and Phoenix Flames.
6. Cast Pyroblast when you have Hot Streak.
7. Cast Fire Blast when you have Heating Up to get Hot Streak.
8. Cast Phoenix Flames to generate Heating Up if you do not have Hot Streak.
9. Cast Scorch when the enemy target is below 30% health.
10. Cast Fireball as your filler.
