Introduction for Frost Death Knight Boss Advice in Battle of Dazar'alor
In this section you will find information pertaining to each boss individually in the Battle of Dazar'alor raid. It is recommended you follow the standard talent build found in the Builds, Talents, and Glyphs section of the guide unless otherwise advised, on a per boss basis. As each boss is hardest on its Mythic difficulty mode, we will first explain the strategy for Mythic, followed by a short explanation on what changes in this strategy, if anything, for Heroic.

For DPS on the add that you are required to switch to, you can use Cold Heart or Frostwyrm's Fury on it. However, we recommend against using Breath of Sindragosa, as you will not be able to get the most out of that ability on the adds. You can also use a Howling Blast on the adds to apply Frost Fever as it will occasionally generate 5 Runic Power.
Grong
Note: This boss is the second boss for Horde players, and the third boss for Alliance players. For the second Alliance boss (Jadefire Masters), see further below.

For the Apetagonizer 3000, your end of Pillar of Frost should line up with the first add, therefore Cold Heart and Frostwyrm's Fury will both also line up with the first add. After the first add, Pillar of Frost will not line up smoothly with the add, so you should not save it unless your raid needs the extra add damage.

Depending on your strategy, you should be attacking the boss that needs the most damage, which will usually be Grimfang/Mestrah unless Firecaller/Flamefist has Fire Shield up, in which case you would work to pop the shield.
Opulence

While killing the constructs make sure that you dodge the frontal cone when the construct telegraphs a ground smash.
The Opal is one of the strongest jewels for Frost Death Knights due to the add phase during Phase Two. Make sure you have Frostwyrm's Fury and you have a Rime proc pooled for the first set of the spirits of gold. Breath of Sindragosa will work out so you usually have it available for the second set of adds.

AoE on the boss that your group is not focusing is fairly pointless. However, applying Frost Fever to the second boss is a good way to generate extra Runic Power through Frost Fever ticks.
You should also aim your Breath of Sindragosa towards any raptors as they get close to you to benefit from the cleave effect. If a raptor is targeting someone that is not in melee, you can Death Grip that raptor to melee to cleave it down.

It may be worth using Wraith Walk to spread in case you get Plague of Fire.
Death's Advance prevents the movement impairment of Inevitable End allowing you to dodge the orbs easier. Save Anti-Magic Shell for tough orb situations in Phase Three.
High Tinker Mekkatorque

Make sure you back away from Mekkatorque when he casts Blast Off to prevent taking damage. Wraith Walk is very useful for this fight to easily run bombs out of the group.
Make sure if to use Breath of Sindragosa after World Enlarger casts as you do not want to waste for Breath of Sindragosa in case you get shrunk. Using Anti-Magic Shell right before your bomb goes off will prevent the application of the debuff.
Stormwall Blockade

Use Icebound Fortitude if you have Crackling Lightning due to the high damage.
In Phase Two, if your group does not have slows for the Energizing Storms, you can use Chains of Ice on them to help slow the mobs at a fairly significant DPS loss.

Death's Advance prevents the knockback of the bombs in phase 1. Anti-Magic Shell prevents the application of additional Chilling Touch stacks during the duration.
