Frost Death Knight DPS The Eternal Palace Raid Guide — Dragonflight 10.2.5

In this section, you will find information and guidance for fighting each boss individually in the Eternal Palace raid as a Frost Death Knight. These are not complete encounter guides, but rather provide specific tips for fighting the bosses as a Frost Death Knight.

The tips on this page are based on PTR testing alone and may not reflect the state of encounters on live servers. This page will be updated with new information once the encounters have been experienced and killed on their respective difficulties.

We advise you to use the following essences against Abyssal Commander Sivara.

• Major Slot
  • Condensed Life-Force — Rank 3: Guardian of Azeroth + Condensed Life-Force
• Minor Slots
  • Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Lucid Dreams
  • Worldvein Resonance — Rank 3: Lifeblood

You can use Anti-Magic Shell in order to gain Runic Power, no matter which debuff you have on this fight. This is very useful to help extend the duration of your Breath of Sindragosa.

We advise you to use the following essences against Blackwater Behemoth.

You can use Death's Advance to prevent the knock back from Shock Pulse.

You should use Death's Advance to prevent the knock back from Gale Buffet from the Stormwraith add on every other cast. You can also use Anti-Magic Shell to prevent all of the damage from this ability on every other cast as well.

Make sure to have your cooldowns ready for the burst phase ( Breath of Sindragosa, Pillar of Frost, and Empower Rune Weapon, as well your second potion of choice).

You can use Anti-Magic Shell to prevent the Briny Bubble from incapacitating you, as long as you use it before it goes off.

This boss and the adds are an Aberration, meaning they take additional damage from the Benthic belt Zanj'ir Scaleguard Greatbelt. This increases all your damage on this encounter by 2%, which is a very strong side effect of the belt.

If your raid is not stacking the adds on Orgozoa, Howling Blast will not cleave onto the adds if your main target is the boss. However, if you target the adds with a Howling Blast, they will cleave onto the boss, even if they are out of melee range (as long as they are not on the other side of the room).

Make sure to be aware of the ability you last used since the Repeat Performance mechanic will stun you if you repeat an ability. In order to circumvent this mechanic, you can choose to weave in non damaging abilities such as Mind Freeze, Death Grip, and other abilities that are not frequently used.

You can use Anti-Magic Shell to absorb the damage from Frenetic Charge. You can also use Death's Advance to prevent the knock back from this ability.

You can use Anti-Magic Shell to protect against a significant amount of damage from Azshara's Arcane Detonation, instead of having to line of sight it.

Make sure that, if you are using Frostwyrm's Fury, that you save it for the Azshara's Devoted to be as stacked as possible, so it hits as many of them as possible. Frozen Tempest is a very powerful choice on this fight, due to being able to proc the secondary effect of it for the Rime proc very easily.
