Fury Warrior DPS Castle Nathria Raid Guide — Dragonflight 10.2.5
On this page, you will find tips, tricks, and strategies tailored to your Fury Warrior for each boss of the following raid: Castle Nathria. All our content is updated for World of Warcraft — Dragonflight 10.2.5.
Introduction
During the Dragonflight Pre-Patch, Castle Nathria, Sanctum of Domination, and Sepulcher of the First Ones will be simultaneously featured as Fated Raids. During this time encounters within each specific raid will include an additional mechanic and items will drop at increased item levels. If you would like to learn more general information about the Fated Raids system as a whole, please see our overview below. Otherwise, continue to use this page for specialization-specific tips.
On this page, you will find Fury Warrior specific information to deal with each boss in the Castle Nathria raid.
This page assumes that you already understand most of the mechanics of each encounter. These can be found on the full raid guide, so what is contained here are details specifically tailored toward Fury Warrior and what you can do to deal with each fight as best as possible.
While the normal single-target talents can be used for most bosses, Fated Power: Chaotic Essence twists this by adding a significant multitarget componenent which Warriors are well suited to engaging. As affixes are random each week, these guidelines do not consider it, but you should talent into at least Odyn's Fury and Anger Management, along with the Signet of Tormented Kings legendary for whichever bosses the affix is active on.
Talent Cheatsheet
You can easily import the talent tree below into the game with the following string:
- BgEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAEAAAAAAAAAAAIJFKBQEEiEcANiEiABhkQEJJBCJJJRaRAEJBAAAA
Shriekwing
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Shriekwing.
- Elysian Might
- Deathmaker
Tips
- Use Heroic Leap, Intervene, and Door of Shadows to quickly get out of line of sight when the boss casts Earsplitting Shriek, along with Charge to get back.
For more information, please refer to our Shriekwing guide.
Huntsman Altimor
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Huntsman Altimor.
- Elysian Might
- Signet of Tormented Kings
Tips
- Huntsman's Bond causes Gargons to share health with the boss, making Massacre a strong talent choice even for non-Venthyr players cleaving Execute. Because of this Bladestorm and Meat Cleaver are both good talent choices for either bursting down adds or funneling extra cleave damage.
- Spell Reflection can help mitigate Sinseeker damage.
- Use Heroic Leap, Charge, and Intervene to move around the room easier, particularly when dropping Petrifying Howl.
For more information, please refer to our Huntsman Altimor guide.
Sun King's Salvation
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Sun King's Salvation.
- Elysian Might
- Signet of Tormented Kings
Tips
- When helping to soak Ember Blast use Spell Reflection as it will deflect the debuff.
- Bladestorm should be saved for stacking and bursting down Reborn Phoenix adds.
For more information, please refer to our Sun King's Salvation guide.
Artificer Xy'Mox
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Artificer Xy'Mox.
- Elysian Might
- Deathmaker
Tips
- Bounding Stride will allow Heroic Leap to be available for every Edge of Annihilation.
- Spell Reflection can reflect the damage from Hyperlight Spark and prevent it from jumping to other allies.
- Spell Reflection can also clear one Stasis Trap.
For more information, please refer to our Artificer Xy'Mox guide.
Hungering Destroyer
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Hungering Destroyer.
- Elysian Might
- Deathmaker
Tips
- Spell Reflection can deflect the final explosion damage from Expunge or soak Obliterating Rift orbs spawned afterward.
- Use Heroic Leap to quickly move the boss further from the raid before he starts casting Consume. To get back to the raid quickly use Charge or Intervene on a closer ally.
For more information, please refer to our Hungering Destroyer guide.
Lady Inerva Darkvein
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Lady Inerva Darkvein.
- Elysian Might
- Deathmaker
Tips
- Talent Anger Management for prioritizing add damage, as it will allow aligning Recklessness with Bladestorm.
- Spell Reflection can help deflect damage from Shared Suffering.
- Heroic Leap can also quickly create space when affected by Shared Suffering.
For more information, please refer to our Lady Inerva Darkvein guide.
The Council of Blood
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against The Council of Blood.
- Elysian Might
- Deathmaker
Tips
- Talenting Bladestorm is a strategic choice depending on whether Niklaus is killed last.
- You can deflect Dancing Fever, Dark Recital, and Scarlet Letter with Spell Reflection.
- Interrupt Dreadbolt Volley with Pummel.
- Be sure to correctly perform the dance in order to maximize stacks of Fancy Footwork.
- Heroic Leap , Intervene and Charge can all be used to move around the large area easier.
For more information, please refer to our The Council of Blood guide.
Sludgefist
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Sludgefist.
- Elysian Might
- Deathmaker
Tips
- Talent Anger Management to align Recklessness with the increased damage taken phase following Destructive Impact.
- Use Heroic Leap to position yourself behind a pillar quickly before the boss charges with Hateful Gaze.
- Charge can negate the knockback and remain on target after Destructive Stomp, but but be sure that your chained partner knows to immediately begin moving toward the boss in order to avoid Shattering Chain.
For more information, please refer to our Sludgefist guide.
Stone Legion Generals
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Stone Legion Generals.
- Deathmaker
- Signet of Tormented Kings
Tips
- Very heavy cleave target greatly favors using Signet of Tormented Kings, though Anger Management and Bladestorm should be talented even if not using it.
- Wicked Laceration, Seismic Upheaval, and Unstable Footing can all be deflected with Spell Reflection.
- Save Heroic Leap to quickly get out of Reverberating Eruption.
For more information, please refer to our Stone Legion Generals guide.
Sire Denathrius
We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Sire Denathrius.
- Elysian Might
- Deathmaker
Tips
- Bladestorm is very good for dealing damage to adds in Phase 1 and 2, although Dragon Roar is slightly better for the third and final phase. Likewise, Signet of Tormented Kings can be used for extra add damage, but it is mostly overkill, as they tend to die too quickly to maximize its use.
- Hand of Destruction, Collective Trauma, and Inevitable are all reflectable with Spell Reflection.
- You can use Spell Reflection to deflect one tick of Burden of Sin.
- You can use Phial of Serenity to remove stacks of Carnage if you are Kyrian.
For more information, please refer to our Sire Denathrius guide.
