Defensive Tips
- You may want to defensive if you are at low HP when Hungering Bellows happens.
Cooldown Usage
- Generally, you can aim to use cooldowns such as Avenging Wrath and Aura Mastery during Hungering Bellows casts. Divine Toll can be used as much as possible.
Mechanical Tips
- There are likely opportunities to use Divine Shield to ignore/remove certain mechanics such as Digestive Acid. Keep in mind that doing so would likely still trigger the AoE damage to nearby players, meaning you should only use your Bubble when away from others. Once the boss is testable on live, more information will be added/edited.

Tips for Nexus-Princess Ky'veza for Holy Paladin
Note that it is early days and that this section will be far more fleshed out as the Season progresses and cool tricks and tips are found.
Defensive Tips
- Dropping below 10% can result in you being executed by the boss; it is important you manage defensives well and keep an eye out for very low-health players.
- Dodging is extremely important in this fight, but also don't be afraid to use Divine Shield when in tricky situations where you can't avoid it.
Cooldown Usage
- Very high damage occurs early in the fight; you will want to make sure to use your CDs early on and then relatively off cooldown.
Mechanical Tips
- Queensbane will deal a heavy amount of damage to players with it. You need to prioritize healing on them at all times and do not be afraid to use Blessing of Sacrifice.
- Divine Shield will cause your orbs to spawn early.
Best Talents
In general we recommend the Lightsmith Avenging Crusader build. While this offers significantly less spot-healing, it adds a ton of damage that can make the damage check a bit easier to manage, especially if you are following the common 5 heal strategy. If your guild is 4 healing or struggling to heal players with Queensbane, it is recommended that you swap to the standard Herald of the Sun melee build.
Tips for The Silken Court for Holy Paladin
Note that it is early days and that this section will be far more fleshed out as the Season progresses and cool tricks and tips are found.
Defensive Tips
- Nothing specific to note yet.
Cooldown Usage
- Aura Mastery will be useful in dealing with the bosses charge mechanic, otherwise you can aim to use your CDs as much as possible, generally when soaking is happening.
Mechanical Tips
- This fight will split you into groups of 10 players, meaning that small group healing becomes much more important. Beacon of Virtue being able to heal nearly half of your assigned group is likely to be very powerful in keeping your side alive.

Tips for Queen Ansurek for Holy Paladin
Note that it is early days and that this section will be far more fleshed out as the Season progresses and cool tricks and tips are found.
Defensive Tips
- If your raid makes mistakes and stacks Frothy Toxin to anythin above 3-4 stacks, you will want to use Divine Protection to ensure you live the explosion. In addition, you may want to use Aura Mastery during these moments to help keep the raid alive.
- Gloom Touch will deal a ton of damage to the raid and to the healers it is on. You will want to make sure you use Divine Protection when you have this debuff. Be careful not to Divine Shield otherwise it will explode the debuff early. If you do not get the debuff, you may want to use Blessing of Sacrifice on a healer who did get it, that way they take significantly less damage.
Cooldown Usage
- Generally you can use Avenging Wrath early into the pull and then have it also come off cooldown near the end of Phase 1 when the raid is taking heavy damage. This will allow you to get heavy damage out on pull through Blessing of Summer while also helping to heal off the first Feast mechanic.
- Aura Mastery can be used anytime you gain heavy stacks of Frothy Toxin. If you do not end up using it at some point during Phase 1, you can generally get good value out of it on a set of webs near the end of the phase.
Mechanical Tips
- Feast will put a very large healing absorb on the tank. It is important that you focus heal them and break this effect as soon as possible, otherwise they may just die from not being healed. If you find your raid group to really struggle with this mechanic, you could opt into Beacon of Faith, or a standard caster build in order to gain more tank healing at the expense of overall healing.
- Blessing of Freedom can be used to immune the Silken Tomb effect. Keep in mind that if you do decide to do this, you will want to position further away from the raid in order to not block anyone off or spawn bad pools of webs.
- Gloom Touch will target healers and needs to be dispelled. Each time it is dispelled the raid will take large amounts of damage. It is important that you only dispel when full health, and you do not dispel at the same time that the boss attempts to pull you off the platform.

General Defensive Usage Notes
Holy Paladin has several defensive spells that you should plan to use and rotate throughout mechanics. You should opt to use the smaller cooldown spells often as needed with incoming mechanics and save bigger cooldowns like Divine Shield for emergencies where you have a high likelihood of dying.
- Divine Protection
- Divine Shield
- Blessing of Protection - only useful for Physical damage.
General Cooldown Usage
Holy Paladin has a few cooldowns to think about using optimally on the fights in Nerub-ar Palace:
- Avenging Wrath — Our main, 2-minute cooldown. You will want to line this up with any major damage events, ideally with as many uses as possible throughout a fight.
- Divine Toll — With a very short cooldown, you will want to use this as much as possible to deal quick burst healing and generate Holy Power.
- Aura Mastery — Powerful raid cooldown that when combined with Devotion Aura can provide your raid with a decent amount of damage reduction. You will generally be told when to use this; otherwise aim to cast it during dangerous moments where you will be taking a very large hit.
In addition to the general rotation, you want to keep in mind that your goal is to use your cooldowns as often as possible during an encounter. With that in mind, your secondary goal is to use them at the correct time. Of course, if your Healing Officer ever assigns your cooldown to a specific moment, you will want to use it there instead.
