Holy Paladin Healing Uldir Raid Guide — Dragonflight 10.2.5
On this page, you will find tips, tricks, and strategies tailored to your Holy Paladin for each boss of the following raid: Uldir. All our content is updated for World of Warcraft — Dragonflight 10.2.5.
Introduction for Holy Paladin Boss Advice
In this section you will find information pertaining to each boss individually. It is recommended you follow the standard talent build found in the Builds and Talents section of the guide unless otherwise advised, on a per boss basis. As this is an upcoming raid, the current information is based on beta testing and theorycrafting using Warcraft Logs and will be updated over time.
If you have three Glimmer of Light traits on your Azerite gear, we highly
recommend playing a Glimmer of Light talent build instead of the standard one
given above, as it will perform significantly better. However, since not all
Holy Paladins will have the gear required for that build, the talent suggestions
here do not assume that you have them.

Taloc

This boss has a very spiky damage pattern due to Cudgel of Gore and
Hardened Arteries. You should keep an eye on players with
Plasma Discharge. Try to spot-heal players with the debuff using
Bestow Faith before they take damage and then following up with
Holy Shock or
Holy Light /
Flash of Light as needed.
The damage from Cudgel of Gore happens roughly once per minute while in Phase
One, so you can alternate between
Avenging Wrath and
Holy Avenger for each one.

Similarly to Taloc, this boss has a very spiky damage pattern, dictated by
players passing through Defense Grid. Because the tanks will be split
up often and the healing of
Beacon of Light does not transfer through
the Defense Grid
Divine Purpose should be preferred.
Holy Paladins are a good choice of healer to move through the
Defense Grid last as they can provide a large amount of tank healing
and the tank will have high stacks of
Sanitizing Strike.
Fetid Devourer

This encounter is largely about healing Malodorous Miasma /
Putrid Paroxysm targets. In addition, both tanks will be tanking damage
from either the boss or Thrashing Terror, so
Beacon of Faith is
incredibly powerful. If you stand close to your tanks you can provide them
extra mitigation from the
Devotion Aura passive. However, you must be
very careful about your positioning so that you are not hit by Thrashing Terror
if you attempt this.

Most of the incoming, unavoidable damage in this fight will come from
Surging Darkness, which hits the raid over a prolonged period of
time and requires you to heal while moving. Holy Paladins are typically
limited in healing options while moving, so we recommend
Bestow Faith,
Avenging Crusader, and
Judgment of Light as talents to mitigate
this weakness.
Eye Beam and
Roiling Deceit (which, if not handled
correctly, will cause a lot of raid damage through
Shadow Nova)
deal substantial single target damage. Be prepared to focus healing on the
targets of these abilities.

This fight is all about controlling stacks of
Lingering Infection. As time goes by, these will grow and
make casts of
Contagion more deadly, especially as it is
likely the raid will be affected by
Immunosuppression at the same
time.
In Heroic, Lingering Infection does not have the extra
effects that cause the encounter to snowball out of control after players hit 6
stacks and above, thus allowing for a more relaxed positioning and control of
the stacks.
Light's Hammer is recommended because your raid should stack for a
large portion of this encounter and it will get good use as this fight is
largely about raid healing. Having one or more
Grace of the Justicar Azerite traits for this boss is also
beneficial.

Other than Dark Revelation bursts, damage starts low and ramps up
throughout this encounter. Be aware that damage will heavily ramp up post 40%
boss health, due to
Locus of Corruption applying a lot of
Corrupted Blood stacks to everyone in the raid. Keep in mind that
Absorbed in Darkness soakers, and players with
Unleashed Shadow,
will require heavy single target healing, as will targets of
Bloodshard if it goes uninterrupted.
In Heroic, you only need to deal with Corrupted Blood after the
boss hits 40% health and there is only one
Dark Revelation to deal
with every minute, instead of the two in Mythic. This vastly reduces the
healing requirements of the encounter and allows you to save most of your Mana
for the end.

Players will have their maximum health reduced by Annihilation,
which gives you less time to heal before deaths occur. That being said, there
will be spikes of raid damage happening regularly from
Imminent Ruin and
Crashing Oblivion that you can use
your cooldowns on.
G'huun

Most of the damage taken in this fight comes from
Reorigination Blast,
Putrid Blood, and
Explosive Corruption. While the healing gets much more intense towards
the end, when you can no longer remove Putrid Blood stacks with
Blood Feast, this is a very long, intense fight that will strain your
Mana to the limit. You should use
Flash of Light sparingly to make sure
you have enough Mana for the end of the fight.
