Defensive Tips
Blistering Spite and
Galvanized Spite are both stacking DoTs that are applied to players depending on where they are in the arena. These stacks will reset at the end of intermission when the bosses swap positions. You will want to save
Desperate Prayer and
Fade for the end of intermission, where the stacks will be highest, and you will also have to deal with the damage of
Colossal Clash.
Cooldown Usage
- Intermission deals heavy damage through
Colossal Clash from both bosses. This is the perfect time for
Apotheosis as it will be active for the entire intermission.
Divine Hymn should typically be used to cover some of the
Molten Phlegm damage when it is damaging your portion of the raid. Trying to use it during intermission can be challenging due to all of the movement, getting a
Spatial Paradox is the only way to reliably ensure a full cast here.
Mechanical Tips
Guardian Spirit is good to coordinate with your tanks to help mitigate
Eruption Stomp damage.
Psychic Scream and
Holy Word: Chastise can both be used to help stop

- Using
Fade before a
Sonic Ba-Boom can save your life if you are not topped up.

Sonic Ba-Booms will allow you to have it up for the first
Voidsplosion. Continue to use
Apotheosis to heal the
Sonic Ba-Boom just before each
Voidsplosion.
- Use
Divine Hymn whenever Apotheosis isn't up, to help heal through a dangerous
Sonic Ba-Boom.
Mechanical Tips
Wire Transfer requires a lot of movement, be sure to save a

General Defensive Usage Notes
Holy Priest has several defensive spells that you should plan to use and rotate
throughout mechanics. You should opt to use the smaller cooldown spells often
as needed with incoming mechanics and save bigger cooldowns like Desperate Prayer
for large incoming damage.
Desperate Prayer.
Fade (with
Translucent Image talented).
Flash Heal on yourself (with
Protective Light talented).
Guardian Spirit (if not needed for a specific ally).
General Cooldown Usage
Holy Priest has a few cooldowns to think about using optimally on the fights in Nerub-ar Palace:
Apotheosis — Our main, 2-minute raid cooldown.
Divine Hymn — Our secondary strong raid cooldown on either a 3-minute cooldown, or 2-minutes with
Seraphic Crescendo talented.
If you find your cooldowns are not assigned by your raid leader, you should
look to use these as often as they will do healing without significant
overheal. This is particularly important for Holy Word: Salvation as much
of your gameplay feeds into reducing the cooldown of Holy Word: Salvation, and
this added bonus is lost if it is not being used.
Your desired mana potion should be used as soon as the additional mana won't be wasted. This can often be quite early on during an encounter and will help set you up to have plenty of mana for the later portions of the fight.
