Il'gynoth, Corruption Reborn Guide for Ny'alotha (BfA 8.3)
Il'gynoth, Corruption Reborn is a boss from the third wing in Ny'alotha, the Waking City, the last raid instance of Battle for Azeroth, introduced in Patch 8.3. Il'gynoth is unlocked after killing Shad'har the Insatiable and Drest'agath. Killing Il'gynoth, Vexiona, and Ra-den the Despoiled unlocks the last wing, with Carapace of N'Zoth and N'Zoth the Corruptor.

Lore (from the Encounter Journal)
Following its defeat in the Emerald Nightmare, Il'gynoth retreated into the depths of Ny'alotha to regain its strength. Now it has fused with the city's architecture and spreads across the Black Empire like a creeping infestation. As Il'gynoth's corrupting flesh grows ever larger, so does its power.
