Lore
Imonar the Soulhunter must be killed before Varimathras and the final bosses can be accessed.
The infamous Imonar servers as the Legion's bloodhound, capable of tracking prey across the cosmos. With a vast array of gadgets and traps at his disposal, Imonar has yet to lose a bounty... and he certainly doesn't intend to sully his perfect record by failing to fulfil his latest contract.
Outline
Imonar the Soulhunter is a three phase encounter split by two intermissions. Most of the fight is centered around environmental mechanics, crowd control, and area denial. Imonar is a unique encounter that may take some groups by surprise, as less seasoned players will find that the most difficult parts of the fight do not even involve fighting the boss.
TL;DR
Tanks
- Taunt swap each time your
Shock Lance or
Sever debuffs expire.
- Help clear a path during the Intermission phases.
- Taunt swap with each new application of
Empowered Shock Lance in Phase Three to minimize
Empowered Electrify damage.
Healers
- Dispel players affected by
Sleep Canisters once players are at least 10 yards away.
- Dispel players who accidentally trigger
Stasis Traps during the intermissions.
- Have cooldowns ready for the intermissions and final phase.
Everyone
- Avoid triggering traps unless assigned, in the intermissions.
- Move away from players affected by
Sleep Canisters, if you are within 10 yards.
- Maintain a proper spread though Phase One, Phase Two, and Phase Three to reduce movement.
Bloodlust/Heroism/Time Warp
We advise you to use Bloodlust/
Heroism/
Time Warp
after
Conflagration has been interrupted, following Intermission
Two. The final phase is the most intense of the three, due to Imonar's
empowered abilities, and forces you to quickly finish the boss before the
infinite duration and stacking abilities finish you.
