A New Difficulty? Triple Raid Bosses Pop Up Due to Recent Issues

It seems the latency/disconnect/just straight weird issues WoW has been facing since the NA reset in the past day actually had a pretty cool consequence as well!

Beg_For_Mercy ran across one of the more interesting things that happened due to the recent strange issues plaguing NA realms after the weekly reset. They found themselves at the first boss of Nerub-ar Palace, but as it turned out, they got a LOT more than they bargained for.

With no further details on this strange but pretty interesting turn of events, we don’t really know what the base raid difficulty was, whether the three Devourers were the same or perhaps from different difficulties, and, most importantly, did they beat them?! Considering the lag and disconnect issues, that last one is almost certainly a no, but it would be a fun fight with that many bosses burrowing around underground.

This is most likely just a strange spawning bug due to the recent issues, but is there an off-off-chance that Blizzard has something interesting in store for a possible War Within Fated season? Probably not. While the real reason this happened is unclear, we’re going to go with modern_Odysseus‘s clean and simple explanation: the Plunderstorm Trios mode added today also applied to raid bosses and the Ulgrax triplets took advantage of it.

In any case, the lesson here is: if you encounter triple the bosses, for the love of god go fight them and put it in a video!
