Abundance Fixes and Refunds, Naigtal Improvements and Rare Shields: Midnight 12.0.7 Weekly Hotfix Summary, June – 22

We only had two hotfix batches in the first week of the new patch, and one of them arrived only hours ago! 12.0.7 doesn’t seem to need quite as much fixing as its predecessor, which is definitely good to see. Naigtal leads the way in fixes, adding some account-wide zone utility unlocks to begin with. Rares in the zone now also have a 3-minute protection shield when they spawn, and the World Boss quest drop issue was resolved as well. Lorewalking also got a couple of improvements, from reward level scaling to an objective that wouldn’t complete getting fixed.

The most relevant fix was to Abundance, however. Players were wasting their shards as they would not trigger the event in Voidstorm. This has now been fixed and there will be an Unalloyed Abundance refund.

Abundance

  • Fixed an issue where players could not begin Abundance in Voidstorm. All players who lost Shards of Dundun due to this issue will be refunded with Unalloyed Abundance in an upcoming hotfix.

Island Expeditions

  • Island Expeditions should be queueing correctly once again.

Items

  • Fixed an issue that could prevent Rotmire’s Sporeheart’s effect from triggering from certain sources of healing.
  • Fixed an issue where the Void-Touched Torch had lower Intellect than intended.

Lorewalking

  • Rewards from the Loa Lorewalking campaign should now scale all the way to level 90.
  • Fixed an issue where the initial objective conversation for “The Prince Who Would Be King” would not complete.

Naigtal

  • Rares are now enveloped in shadow for the first 3 minutes after spawning and cannot be attacked, giving players additional time to reach the encounter.
  • The “Bouncy Mushrooms,” “Aerospores”, and “The Grappler” unlocks in Naigtal are now account wide.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Nexus-Captain Leth’ir from dropping the quest item for “Knocking Off the Top (Heroic).” Characters that encountered the issue can earn their emblem from another Heroic kill of Nexus-Captain Leth’ir or from a wrapper quest they have not completed.

Player versus Player

  • Resolved an issue that could cause Horde to lose reinforcements instead of Alliance when they capture the Sparring Grounds in Slayer’s Rise.
