Here’s an overview of the class changes that went live in this week’s Patch 11.1 Build 58819.
Death Knight

- Frost Strike – Chill your [weapon with icy power and quickly strike the enemy, dealing [(110.95/127.593% of Attack power)] Frost damage.][weapons with icy power and quickly strike the enemy with both, dealing a total of [(78.0272/89.7313% of Attack power) + (78.0272/89.7313% of Attack power)] Frost damage.]
- Scourge Strike – An unholy strike that deals (64.1784/73.8052% of Attack power) Physical damage and (35.354/40.6571% of Attack power)% Shadow damage, and causes 1 Festering Wound to burst.
- Rime – Obliterate has a 45% chance [Frostscythe: and Frostscythe has a 22.5% chance]to cause your next Howling Blast to consume no runes and deal 225/275% additional damage.
- Breath of Sindragosa – Continuously deal [(105.9/116.49% of Attack power) * [(Attack power * 0.98)][((Attack power + Offhand attack power) * 2 / 3)] — 2H, DW / Attack power] Frost damage every 1 sec to enemies in a cone in front of you, until your Runic Power is exhausted. Deals reduced damage to secondary targets. Generates 2 Rune at the start and end.
- Clawing Shadows – Deals (117.7/135.355% of Attack power) Shadow damage and causes 1 Festering Wound to burst.
- Coagulopathy – Enemies affected by Blood Plague take 5% increased damage from you and Death Strike increases the damage of your Blood Plague by 25% for 8/12 sec, stacking up to 5 times.
Demon Hunter
- Mastery: Demonic Presence – Increases your Chaos damage by 14.0/18.0%[Pursuit: and your movement speed by 5.0% / .]
- Sigil of Flame – Place a Sigil of Flame at the target location that activates after 2 sec.Deals (49.3358/53.2827% of Attack power) Fire damage, and an additional (123.504/133.385% of Attack power) Fire damage over 8 sec, to all enemies affected by the sigil.Generates 30 Fury.
- Sigil of Flame – Sigil of Flame deals an additional (123.504/133.385% of Attack power) Fire damage over 8 sec, to all enemies affected by the sigil.
- Soulscar – Throw Glaive causes targets to take an additional 100/80% of damage dealt as Chaos over 6 sec.
- Fiery Demise – Fiery Brand also increases Fire damage you deal to the target by 20/15%.
- Burning Blood – Fire damage increased by 10/8%.
- A Fire Inside
Immolation Aura has 1 additional charge and 30% chance to refund a charge when used.You can have multiple Immolation Auras active at a time.

- Havoc: Metamorphosis now also causes Demon’s Bite to generate 15 additional Fury.While demon form is active, the first cast of each empowered ability induces a Demonsurge, causing you to explode with Fel energy, dealing (200/280% of Attack power) Fire damage to nearby enemies. Deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets.
- Vengeance: Metamorphosis now also greatly empowers Soul Cleave and Spirit Bomb. While demon form is active, the first cast of each empowered ability induces a Demonsurge, causing you to explode with Fel energy, dealing (200/280% of Attack power) Fire damage to nearby enemies. Deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets.
- Enduring Torment
- Havoc: The effects of your demon form persist outside of it in a weakened state, increasing Chaos Strike and Blade Dance damage by 10/15%, and Haste by 5%.
- Flamebound – Immolation Aura has 2 yd increased radius and 25/30% increased critical strike damage bonus.
Druid
- Starsurge – Launch a surge of stellar energies at the target, dealing (263.2/273.6% of Spell power) Astral damage.
- Power of Goldrinn – Starsurge has a chance to summon the Spirit of Goldrinn, which immediately deals [(62/150% of Spell power) * 1.0816] Astral damage to the target.
- Touch the Cosmos – Casting Wrath in an Eclipse has a 15/18% chance to make your next Starsurge or Starfall free.Casting Starfire in an Eclipse has a 22/25% chance to make your next Starsurge or Starfall free.
Hunter
- Aimed Shot – A powerful aimed shot that deals (435.6/457.4% of Attack power) Physical damage.
- Bestial Wrath – Sends you and your pet into a rage, instantly dealing [Attack power * 1.8 * 1 * (1 + Versatility) * 1.08] Physical damage to its target, and increasing all damage you both deal by 25/30% for 15 sec. Removes all crowd control effects from your pet. [Barbed Wrath: Bestial Wrath’s remaining cooldown is reduced by 12 sec each time you use Barbed Shot][Scent of Blood: and activating Bestial Wrath grants 0 charge of Barbed Shot]
- Improved Spotter’s Mark – The damage bonus of Spotter’s Mark is increased by 20%. Spotter’s MarkDamaging an enemy with abilities empowered by Precise Shots has a 30% chance to apply Spotter’s Mark to the primary target, causing your next Aimed Shot to deal 10/20% increased damage to the target.
- Windrunner Quiver – Precise Shots can now stack up to 2 times, but its damage bonus is reduced to 80/90%.Casting Aimed Shot has a 50% chance to grant an additional stack of Precise Shots.
- Eyes in the Sky – Replaces Call Pet. Gain the aid of a Spotting Eagle. Damaging an enemy with an ability empowered by Precise Shots has a 30% chance to cause your Spotting Eagle to rapidly descend from the skies and mark your primary target. Spotter’s MarkYour next Aimed Shot deals 10/20% increased damage to this target.
Mage
- Arcane Barrage – Launches bolts of arcane energy at the enemy target, causing (38.214/42.0354% of Spell power) Arcane damage. For each Arcane Charge, deals 90% additional damage [ Arcane: grants you 1.5% of your maximum mana]. Consumes all Arcane Charges.
- Wintertide – Damage from Frostbolt and Flurry increases the damage of your Icicles and Glacial Spike by 4/2%. Stacks up to 2 times.Damage from Glacial Spike consumes all stacks of Wintertide.
- Frostfire Infusion – Your Frost and Fire spells have a chance to trigger an additional bolt of Frostfire, dealing (67.5/60.75% of Spell power) damage. This effect generates Frostfire Mastery when activated.
- Excess Fire
- Fire: Casting Meteor causes your next Fire Blast to explode in a Frostfire Burst, dealing (265.6% of Spell power) Frostfire damage to nearby enemies. Damage reduced beyond 8 targets.Frostfire Burst, reduces the cooldown of Phoenix Flames by 10/5 sec.
- Excess Frost
- Frost: Consuming Excess Fire causes your next Flurry to also cast Ice Nova at 200/150% effectiveness. Ice Novas cast this way do not freeze enemies in place. When you consume Excess Frost, the cooldown of Comet Storm is reduced by 5/3 sec.
- Fire: Consuming Excess Fire causes your next Phoenix Flames to also cast Ice Nova at 200/150% effectiveness. Ice Novas cast this way do not freeze enemies in place. When you consume Excess Frost, the cooldown of Meteor is reduced by 5/3 sec.
Monk
- Invoke Niuzao, the Black Ox – Summons an effigy of Niuzao, the Black Ox for 25 sec. Niuzao attacks your primary target, and frequently Stomps, damaging all nearby enemies[Improved Invoke Niuzao, the Black Ox: for (16.38/20% of Attack power) plus 0% of Stagger damage you have recently purified / .]While active, 25/40% of damage delayed by Stagger is instead Staggered by Niuzao.
- Jade Empowerment – Casting Thunder Focus Tea increases your next Crackling Jade Lightning’s damage by 3000/2500% and causes it to chain to 4 additional enemies at 10/15% effectiveness.
Paladin
- Light of Dawn – Unleashes a wave of Holy energy, healing up to 5 injured allies within a 15 yd frontal cone for (138/154.56% of Spell power).
- Hammer and Anvil
- Holy: Judgment critical strikes cause a shockwave around the target, dealing (300/200% of Spell power + 300/200% of Attack power) healing at the target’s location.
Priest
- Dispersing Light – 5% of healing done with Heal, Flash Heal, and Power Word: Life is replicated to 4 injured allies within 40/0 yards.
Rogue
- Sleight of Hand – Roll the Bones has a 16/20% increased chance of granting additional matches.
Shaman
- Ice Strike – Strike your target with an icy blade, dealing (285.66% of Attack power) Frost damage and snaring them by 50% for 6 sec. Ice Strike increases the damage of your next Frost Shock by 100% and generates 1 stack of Maelstrom Weapon.
- Ice Strike – Whenever you spend Maelstrom Weapon, your Frost Shock has a chance to become Ice Strike.
- Ice Strike: Strike your target with an icy blade, dealing (285.66% of Attack power) Frost damage and snaring them by 50% for 6 sec. Ice Strike increases the damage of your next Frost Shock by 100% and generates 1 stack of Maelstrom Weapon. This ability has a 40 yard range.
Warrior
- Cleave – Strikes all enemies in front of you for (197.95/217.745% of Attack power) Physical damage, inflicting Deep Wounds. Cleave will consume your Overpower effect to deal increased damage. Deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets.
- Overpower – Overpower the enemy, dealing (202.869/243.443% of Attack power) Physical damage. Cannot be blocked, dodged, or parried.[Martial Prowess: Increases the damage of your next Mortal Strike or Cleave by 15%, stacking up to 1 times][Increases the damage of your next Mortal Strike by 15%, stacking up to 1 times][Improved Overpower: Generates [(202.869/243.443% of Attack power) / 10] Rage.]
- Mortal Strike – A vicious strike that deals (403.119/483.743% of Attack power) Physical damage and reduces the effectiveness of healing on the target by 50% for 10 sec.
- Bloodthirst – Assault the target in a bloodthirsty craze, dealing (232.874/279.449% of Attack power) Physical damage and restoring 3% of your health.Generates (80 / 10) Rage.
- Raging Blow – A mighty blow with both weapons that deals a total of [(149.738/179.686% of Attack power) + (149.738/179.686% of Attack power)] Physical damage.[Improved Raging Blow: Raging Blow has a 25% chance to instantly reset its own cooldown]Generates 12 Rage.
- Rampage – Enrages you and unleashes a series of 4 brutal strikes for a total of [(142.442/170.93% of Attack power) + (83.0914/99.7097% of Attack power) + (189.924/227.909% of Attack power) + (106.832/128.198% of Attack power)] Physical damage.
- Dreadnaught – Overpower causes a seismic wave, dealing (34.7318/41.6782% of Attack power) damage to all enemies in a 10 yd line. Deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets.
- Odyn’s Fury – Unleashes your power, dealing [(122.139/140.46% of Attack power)% + (122.139/140.46% of Attack power)% + (122.139/140.46% of Attack power)% + (122.139/140.46% of Attack power)%] Physical damage and an additional (142.622/164.015% of Attack power) Physical damage over 4 sec to all enemies within 12 yards. Deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets.Generates 15 Rage.
- Frothing Berserker
- Protection: Revenge has a 20% chance to immediately refund 25/50% of the Rage spent.
- Reckless Abandon – Activating Recklessness generates 50 Rage and while Recklessness is active, Raging Blow and Bloodthirst are replaced by Crushing Blow and Bloodbath.
- Crushing Blow: Strike a mighty blow with both weapons that deals a total of [(179.685/215.622% of Attack power) + (179.685/215.622% of Attack power)] Physical damage. Crushing Blow has a 25% chance to instantly reset its own cooldown and its critical strikes deal 10% additional damage. Generates 12 Rage.
- Bloodbath: Assault the target in a bloodthirsty craze, dealing (279.45/335.34% of Attack power) Physical damage and restoring 3% of your health. Bloodbath causes the target to bleed for (180% of Attack power) damage over 6 sec. Using Bloodbath on a target that is affected by Bloodbath extends the bleed by 6 sec.Generates 8 Rage.
