It’s time for some wowcrendor again, as his “Pointless Top 10” things in WoW series continues, and finds some pretty cool ones!
Not So Pointless
While the series is indeed titled “Pointless”, this time around its actually just awesome instead. WoW has some pretty great skyboxes, and Wowcrendor dives into 10 of the best ones. From Legion’s Tomb of Sargeras to Caverns of Time, Zul Drak, Dreadlands and more, we get not only the skyboxes themselves, but also a bit of background lore on them and some things we may not have spotted ourselves. Most of them have some very flashy features to draw you in, but there’s some really nice details around those as well. We have moons, fel vortexes, asteroid fields, and, well, you guessed it, a giant light/shadow crystal.
Can you guess which is number one? We might dispute the choices below and present the Star Augur Nighthold boss fight background, but it is an indoor and raid one, so perhaps it was disqualified – or not pointless enough?
