We’ve recently talked about a player who managed to get the 
Reins of the Infinite Timereaver in only four hours on a trial character before they were even able to use it. Well, today we have an even bigger mount-lottery-winner!
The Conspiracy Thickens
It’s been a long-running conspiracy theory that returning and new players have better luck with drops in general, with mounts being the biggest focus of this. Today’s story doesn’t exactly disprove this, as Glassberg managed to get the Timereaver on their very first Timewalking dungeon – not of the week, or day, but ever! A very new player to WoW, they ventured into the dungeon around some time before level 35 and by the end of it had their very own awesome mount. The kicker? It’s the literal very first mount they ever got!
The Rarity
The Timereaver is a tricky one when it comes to rarity. It does have a very low drop rate (1 in 4000/0.025%, and 1 in 500/0.2% from the weekly box) from each Timewalking boss, but it’s been around for so long and most players kill a LOT of bosses, so it’s certainly not a rare sight.
In any case, this is some high-level luck at play, beginner or not! So congratulations to Glassberg and we wish them further luck in their very new travels across Azeroth!
