Season 2 is almost upon us as there’s two/three more days left to wait, depending on which region you’re in. The (presumably) final round of pre-season tuning has arrived and we should have the rankings set for the start of the season, so let’s dive in!
S and A+ Tier Changes
While this latest class tuning pass didn’t change quite as much as the last, we do have a new member of the S club. Balance joins the top spots in 3rd, and we also get a new No.1, with Fire taking over from Elemental. We also see Enhancement suffer a hit, going down towards the bottom of A+ tier.
Slightly below the top 3 we have the A+ers. Feral and Shadow remain at the top here and the Death Knights huddle together right behind them. Retribution makes a significant move up, as Subtlety drops down into A tier. We also see all three Warlocks back near the top, with Destruction getting the biggest boost.
The Top Tiers
Now let’s take a look at full top tiers and the many DPS specs (very happily) populating them. These are curated and made by our guide writer Petko.
This is still a preliminary list based on PTR and live testing, as well as the tuning notes. It will be updated very frequently. Also, as always, the rankings are an overall look at the meta, they vary between key levels and affixes.
