If you’ve been wondering what happened to the dinars (
Puzzling Cartel Chips) originally planned as Renown 17 and 19 rewards from the Cartels of Undermine faction, there’s finally an answer!
The dinars have been moved to Patch 11.1.5! Naguura had the chance to interview Ion Hazzikostas and Maria Hamilton who explained the reasoning behind this shift.
The development team received feedback that tying dinars to late-stage Renown rewards made them an ineffective catch-up mechanic. Instead of requiring players to progress through the faction, Blizzard opted to make dinars available to everyone at the same time in Patch 11.1.5.
