Why is Blizzard Asking Now?

Blizzard’s move to ask players about ultra-rare mounts raises an important question: Are these rare collectibles coming back?

Recent history suggests it’s possible. The Reins of the Trader's Gilded Brutosaur iconReins of the Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur, an AH mount with a mailbox, was a massive success when introduced. Nearly 1 in 5 WoW accounts purchased it, despite its $90 price tag. This showed Blizzard that the demand for premium mounts is strong.

Spectral Tiger’s Future?

There’s more fuel to the fire: In China, Blizzard released a flying Spectral Tiger mount for around $265, usable even in Classic, SoD, and Hardcore servers, as a ground mount.

Given the overwhelming poll results and the proven success of the Gilded Brutosaur, it’s not unreal to think Blizzard could bring back the Spectral Tiger, possibly through the in-game shop or even as part of a subscription bundle to boost player counts!

With the Magic Rooster also high on the wishlist, Blizzard has plenty of options to decide which ultra mount they’d bring back! What do you think?
