Blizzard have hotfixed a rare bug that could cause players’ entire quest history and quest progress to be completely reset. Affected players’ account are being investigated to fix their issues as well.
Earlier this evening, we detected a very rare bug that could cause the effects described above, and we deployed a hotfix to address it.
To be clear– the hotfix for the bug that could cause players to experience an unexpected loss of quest history is now live.
We may have to prevent players who were affected from logging in while we investigate their accounts.
