Classic Timewalking will arrive in Patch 11.0.5 for the first time as part of the 20th anniversary event Find out more about the event including rewards!
It’s important to point out Classic Timewalking is coming for the first time during the anniversary event, but it will be a regular event just like other Timewalking events in the future.
Scaling Changes in Patch 11.0.5
All Timewalking events will be available to everyone at Level 10. Timewalking is also going through some scaling changes. The content will now scale to your level instead of you scaling to the content, so essentially, there’s no need for special Timewalking gear anymore.
Classic Reputation Buff
During Classic Timewalking, 
Sign of the Past will increase Classic reputation gains from combat and quests by 50%, making it ideal to reach Exalted with the many factions!
Item Level of Gear in Classic Timewalking
Classic Timewalking Dungeons drop upgradeable ilvl 567 gear in Patch 11.0.5, which is an upgrade from the current Season 1 non-upgradeable ilvl 554 gear.
Classic Timewalking Weekly Quest
For the weekly quest, you must complete 5 Timewalking Dungeons to receive 1 
Cache of Dark Iron Treasures, containing 1 piece of ilvl 597 gear and 3 
Bronze Celebration Tokens, a currency used to buy anniversary event rewards.
Classic Timewalking Raid?
While during the anniversary event, the Blackrock Depths raid will be open to players, currently there are no hints this raid will return in future Classic Timewalking events.
Classic Timewalking Dungeons
While the dungeon rotation features many Classic Dungeons, only the Deadmines dungeon is true to its Vanilla nature. Other dungeons in the rotation are the updated versions of the Classic Dungeons. The following dungeons are playable during Classic Timewalking:
- The Deadmines
- Dire Maul East
- Dire Maul West
- Stratholme (Living)
- Stratholme (Undead)
- Zul’Farrak
The final bosses will yield gear upgrade crests and all bosses drop Timewarped Badges.
Timewalking Vendor Rewards
Bobadormu is the event’s Timewalking vendor, selling new items for Timewarped Badges.
You can purchase the 
Reins of the Frayfeather Hippogryph for 5,000 Timewarped Badges.
Craggles is a new pet that costs 2,200 Timewarped Badges.
Misty is available for purchase for 2,200 Timewarped Badges as well.
Practice Ravager is a new toy that makes you spin around with your weapon. It costs 200 badges.
The vendor also sells some other items like 
Kreeg’s Hardy Draught for 25 badges, 
Deviate Fish for 2 badges, 
Savory Deviate Delight for 10 badges, 5 
Noggenfogger Elixirs for 10 badges, 25 
Mohawk Grenades for 200 badges, and various weapon ensembles.
Two-Handed Weapon Ensembles cost 2,500 and One-Handed 1,500 badges each. Some notable items are a low-resolution Spyro shield named 
Gilded Drakecrest Shield for 2,000 badges.
Here is 
Claymore of the Knight’s Pledge (2H Sword) for 2,500 badges.
Doomwail Reaper (Polearm) can be purchased for 2,500 badges.
Kirin Tor Adept’s Stave for 2,500 badges.
Tusked Branch of War costs 2,500 badges.
Bearded Branch of Lore can be purchased for 2,500 badges.
Another shield available for purchase is the 
Emberswirl Bulwark for 2,000 badges.
The
Runed-Ice Dirk is a Dagger that costs 1,500 badges.
Farstrider’s Huntsblade is a 1H Sword that costs 1,500 badges.
Finally, 
Sermons of the Naaru is an off-hand book for 1,500 badges.
Classic Reputation Tokens!
The Classic Timewalking vendor also sells reputation tokens that increase your reputation with Classic factions by 500 each. One token costs 50 badges!
The vendor also sells heirloom upgrade tokens for Timewarped Badges.
