The third week of The War Within Season 2 is upon us! Check out what’s new and what to focus on with our comprehensive to-do list!
Khaz Algar Activities
Start in Dornogal by talking to Biergoth, who will have a dungeon quest for you. All you have to do for the quest is clear The Rookery. Even a Follower Dungeon will be enough to complete the quest. Of course, you want to pick +1,500 reputation with Cartels of Undermine as your quest reward.
Now talk to Archivist Frithrun and pick up A Call to Delves weekly. While there’s a tooltip bug that shows Season 1 item level, the chest actually rewards Season 2 Champion gear, as confirmed by Blizzard. Complete 5 delves for 1 piece of Champion gear. Any tiers will do.
Talk to Brann Bronzebeard at the Delver’s Headquarters and accept Delves: Worldwide Research for 1 Pinnacle Cache. All you have to do is complete 3 delves.
- Now focus on getting your first four caches of the week for Veteran gear and Bountiful Coffer Keys, so you can farm delves.
- Check if Theater Troupe is up. If it’s not, you can complete Awakening the Machine in Ringing Deeps or Spreading the Light in Hallowfall. If you don’t like doing any Khaz Algar world events, you can skip them all and go straight to Undermine and complete your weeklies there.
- Don’t bother killing the Isle of Dorn world boss.
Undermine Activities
- Take the portal from Dornogal to Undermine.
- Visit the Incontinental Hotel and align yourself with one of the four cartels.
- Kill Rares and complete as many World Quests in Undermine as you can, including Special Assignments.
- Kill Gallywix in Story Mode for item level 626 loot and an Enchanted Crest that lets you craft a piece of gear. If you can’t access Story Mode, you probably haven’t advanced enough in the Undermine campaign.
- Once you’ve defeated Gallywix, you can start working on unlocking the secret fifth cartel.
- Talk to Smaks Topskimmer and accept Many Jobs, Handle It! and Urge to Surge.
- For Many Jobs, Handle It!, you must complete 10 Shipping and Handling Jobs. These can be started by pressing 5 on your D.R.I.V.E. mount. You can press 5 again to reset the current job or start a different one.
- This quest rewards 1,000 reputation with Cartels of Undermina and your weekly cartel.
- For Urge to Surge, you will need to wait until the Surge Pricing event is active in the zone. It comes up every hour for around 10 minutes. When you see a loading bar in the middle of your screen, make sure to complete at least 1 Shipping and Handling job to get credit for the quest. The quest gives you 1,000 reputation with Cartels of Undermine and +1,000 reputation with your chosen weekly cartel, in addition to ilvl 623 Veteran gear from the bag (
Nanny’s Surge Dividends).
- At Hovel Hill, talk to Carlo Greasegrind who will have the Reduce, Reuse, Resell weekly for you. For this quest, complete 3 S.C.R.A.P. jobs by searching through piles of rubbish on a timer. This quest gives you +1,000 reputation with Cartels of Undermine and an additional 1,000 with your weekly cartel.
- Once you have your 4
Restored Coffer Keys from world events and quests, complete at least 4 Tier 8+ delves for Hero loot in your next week’s Great Vault. In reality, you should complete 5 at least 5 delves for the weekly quest that grants Champion gear. - If you’re doing LFR, make sure to complete the third Liberation of Undermine wing to increase your Renown with the Gallagio Royalty Rewards Club. The first soft nerf buff is also available this week, increasing your damage and healing in the raid.
- Don’t forget to kill the Undermine World Boss located at the Demolition Dome in Undermine for guaranteed account-bound Champion-track loot from your first kill.
- Work on killing The Underpin for Seasonal rewards.
- Use your second Catalyst charge to build your 2/4-set bonuses.
