This week sees patch 11.1 launch, but not Season 2 of The War Within, so things can be a little confusing. Luckily we have some clarifications for Delves and what exactly is unlocking when, courtesy of Mr.GM!
The First Week of the Patch (No Season)
This week’s Undermine(d) launch will bring new additions to Delves, despite Season 2 not having started yet. First off, you can still get Zekvir done for the achievements and 100% void zeppelin drop after the patch arrives, as it only goes away with the Season 2 launch next week. The old Delves are also still fully available as they have been so far. Then we have the new stuff:
- New Delves will be available in tiers 1 to 3. This will drop Season 2 Explorer (610) gear.
- This includes the the Sidestreet Sluice and Excavation site 9 new Delves.
- The tank specialization for Brann will be available.
Week 2 of 11.1, the Launch of Season 2
The second week of the patch and season launch brings the full Delve changes.
- Season 1 Delves will become unavailable.
- Delve keys will reset.
- New tier 4 to 11 Delves will become active.
- New Delve variants for old Delves will be available.
- The new Delver’s Journey progress will start.
- New rewards will arrive at Delve vendors.
- The new mount will be unlockable.
- The Undercoin currency will reset.
- New Curios will become available.
- The new Zekvir, Underpin, boss delve will be available.
