In a recent interview with Gamereactor, Blizzard’s Executive Producer Holly Longdale revealed that players will get to experience Legion “in a new way.” While she didn’t explicitly confirm a Legion Remix event, she referenced Legion while discussing how Mists of Pandaria was revisited in both Classic and modern WoW.
MoP Remix was a major success, keeping players engaged during the final months before The War Within expansion. If Blizzard follows the same pattern, a Legion Remix could be the perfect way to maintain player interest leading up to Midnight, the second expansion in the Worldsoul Saga.
When Could Legion Remix Happen?
Based on Blizzard’s 2025 roadmap for modern WoW, the most likely release window is Fall or Winter 2025. This would coincide with the expected Fated season for The War Within, giving players fresh content to enjoy while waiting for Midnight’s launch.
